Sorry, all. The Pistons are NOT the best team in the East. They are front running, and they are not really ready yet. Its very VERY common for young inexperienced teams, but the fact remains that young teams dont skip steps.
The Cavs are the best team in the East. Dont believe the casual fan narratives about James Harden or Donovan Mitchell. The Cavs might not win it all this year, but they are marching toward a ship, and the only squad thats potentially on their level in a series in Boston.
Kyrie the best
I didn't mind Kyrie wanting to leave but the way that he did it was terrible. He was so immature and it could be seen from miles away. Plus they way he did it, it really felt like he thought he was better. Which is insane to even think that. But hey, it all worked out in the end.
I don’t think it was a bad decision for him to leave like how most people say. Between 2015-2017 in Cleveland he averaged 22.4/3/5 on 46/39/88 shooting splits on 57.2%TS. Since leaving from 2018-2025 he averages 25.6/4.7/5.7 on 49/40/90 shooting splits on 60.3%TS😂. He’s literally had the best seasons of his career since leaving Cleveland🤷♂️. He’s also impacted winning at some level when you look at his on/off numbers on a season by season basis since leaving🤷♂️.
What the average person doesn't understand is that LeBron regardless at what position he is LISTED at Lebron essentially played point guard the day he came back he told Kyrie he was going to transition to more of a stretch 4 he even said it early on publicly "Im giving Kyrie the keys to the car" Lebron never moved off the ball which never allowed Kyrie to be an actual full time point guard. Im not making this up or this is not opinion I have intimate knowledge of the situation

All y’all capping and beating around the bush. In 2017 lebron was saying “I need another playmaker” during the season because he wanted to trade Kyrie for Chris Paul. Then after the season ended, Dan Gilbert had a deal to bring in Paul George and Eric Bledsoe for Kyrie, but said he’d only do it if lebron signed an extension and committed long term. Lebron refused to do that because he and everyone else knew he was going to the lakers after 2018, so Gilbert didn’t go through with the deal. Kyrie heard about the trade and said to himself that this dude is trying to trade me, and he’s going to leave me high and dry after this year anyways, might as well dip out now instead of being left along next year.
