Knicks & Wolves are Better Than You Think + Dream Locations for Top Draft Picks | ALL NBA Podcast

Adam Mares and Jason Timpf break down the biggest NBA games and storylines, starting with the New York Knicks dominating the San Antonio Spurs and what the matchup revealed about both teams. They analyze the Spurs’ halfcourt struggles, the need for more from their ball-handlers, and whether physicality is becoming a weakness. On the Knicks side, they highlight Josh Hart’s big performance, Karl-Anthony Towns’ impact, Mikal Bridges thriving in transition, and OG Anunoby’s defensive versatility, while debating whether New York is defined more by its floor or its ceiling. The episode also covers the Minnesota Timberwolves taking down the Denver Nuggets, Denver’s defensive issues and bench struggles, and concerns around Nikola Jokic’s conditioning and Cam Johnson. They wrap with a look at Julius Randle’s game and a fun draft discussion, including dream destinations for top prospects like AJ Dybantsa, Peterson, and Boozer. A must-watch for NBA fans tracking contenders, playoff implications, and future draft stars.

  1. Knicks beat multiple good teams last year, it was just the Cavs, OKC and Celtics that ran them into a wall. Then we saw the playoffs so we'll see

  2. Using players missing against OKC as an excuse is sad considering they also haven’t been healthy also Spencer jones has played OKC and he’s been terrible in both matchups literally played only 2 minutes in the last game

  3. DEN is the best team on paper, but what went under the radar, at least for me is that the weak mentality of their new guys (who are otherwise perfect fits). DEN used to be the team that would never quit and make other teams quit with how brave, smart, patient and relentless they were. THJ is basically MPJ who doesn't get lost on defense every possession, but it's 3/4 quarters, in the clutch he can't hit a shot and he makes the weirdest TO you ever saw. Cam also perfect fit, dude does everything Jokic needs, he guards well, he stand it the right place, he gets the ball to Jokic, he shoots great, until something goes wrong and he totally falls apart, and of course same as THJ, 4th quarter he ain't hitting nothing. And don't get me started on Big Val. It's basically Ayton level soft, but at least he's good team mate in that he doesn't sulk. He just plays soft.

  4. Talking about playoff mistakes and putting the Cavs over the Knicks is quite the choice.

  5. The Spurs were literally ran out of town. My heart broke. Wemby is going to need a signature, MSG revenge win on his jacket. Yes, there is bigger picture stuff to focus on as we head into the payoffs but man they were sent home in only their underwear. I watched with second hand embarrassment.

  6. I think most of the people down on the Knicks are doing so because of the expectation prior to the season and the idea they would run away with the east. For having a new coach and playing more players they have actually played good if not better than last year . I mean you guys said it yourselves . Look at the numbers . They say it all , plus the eyes don’t lie . They look good.

  7. I don’t think the Spurs are a particularly good shooting team only because all of their PGs can’t shoot and will be dared to prove otherwise in April & May. Fox, Castle, and Harper are not good 3pt shooters, and that is a problem San Antonio will run into

  8. Also guys I gotta say today’s episode was great, Adam & JT had great chemistry in this one and bounced off each other so well- also the draft talk was a lot of fun!

  9. And that’s why the Knicks beat the Celtics last year, and should be favoured to beat the Celtics again – players like Hart, OG and Brunson are clutch. They love the pressure and big moments. Their only downfall last year was they came against a team in the Pacers who were even more clutch.

Teams like the Celtics and 76ers and Harden just crumble in the biggest moments.

And if you comment on Celtics title run, don’t forget the injured teams they faced. Pacers without Hali, Cavs without 3 starters,

  10. Denver might have the best PR in the nba along with Jokic. he is the only guy that gets zero blame and all the blame is put on role players and injuries. even tho this same team basically went 10-6 without jokic and has been 6-7 since he has returned. in regards to the draft i pray adam silver gives the top 4 picks all to eastern conference teams. it’s honestly that fastest and best way to even out the two conferences. jason basically just wants the west to be over powered at this point lol

  11. A little surprised you didn't mention the nagging right wrist issue with Jokic, he was stretching his hand during timeouts. Clearly must be bothering him at the moment, hence poor shooting.
