Forgot to check out your BWill or Nemby leading the Mavs video. So not quite sure what ya'll said about them. I'll just say that currently my hopes are that either one of them can become like a 6th man candidate. That's where I've got their ceilings at. I suppose I would put my money on Nemby's chances of being that guy cause he's just a rook. But not gonna be holding my breath on either one.
This is why I feel like this draft can be huge. We've got pieces to trade to get into the top 3 or if they won a top 3 pick they could package something that could possibly get them a mid round 1st and would give them 3 first round rookies.

He's a rookie so its still a learning curve for him! JJ and Brunson weren't consistent their 1st couple of years either but they gradually improved each season!
Also a lot of the close games this year involved Naji so i believe next season will be better! AJ is a project that is still trying to figure it out and the vets are kinda taking all the shots lol. I like Middleton but he should've left off a buyout and played with a contender! Coop will help a lot as we know once he is back! Its important for Coop to get more reps before his season is over!

I do agree that we need s big PG as much as i like Nemby and B Will but another need thsts not talked about is a stretch big! We dont dominate the glass well enough to warrant having non shooting bigs at this point!

When people talk about the Mavs don't necessarily need to win next year. Look at Charlotte. They were viewed as a dumpster fire organization until this year when they started winning. Lamelo was on the trading block and had low trade value even though he was rookie of the Year and I kind of forgot Brandon Miller was on that team. If the Mavericks followed up this bad season with another one. They will be a dumpster bad organization that will be toxic to free agents and trade candidates. It happens fast
