    Kawhi quit on the team and hid from them while him and his uncle made plans for LA. He will never not get boo'd in SA lmao
    Vic was saying he was tired because he had just played 39 minutes the night before against the Pistons. He cried because he is seeing how much the team has grown together and he said in the post game interview that 2 years ago they probably wouldve gotten blown out by 40 on a night like this but times have changed, think he was just proud

    I was at last night’s game. Second best comeback win I’ve seen live at Frost Bank Center (first is Manu’s game winner vs Dubs in 2013 playoffs). My first game seeing Kawhi back in SA. I booed because IYKYK. Him and his Uncle did the team and city dirty. It’s a Vince Carter vs Toronto situation. It’ll take more time and healing after he retires to make amends. I understand he wanted to go back home to Cali and play for the LA teams. That’s cool, just keep it internal and let the Spurs trade you without the drama.

    I thought the Clippers were supposed to be the organization that was going to dominate the West coast with George Paul, and Patrick Beverly, Kawhi Leonard, Marcus Morris?

    Spurs fans will never forgive Kawhi. It's not that he left. It's the manner in which he left. He torched bridges behind him. Yes, he was a part of getting us another ring but Spurs culture has never been just about winning. Out here we value a player's character off the court as much as, if not a little more, than what they can do on the court. Kawhi and his uncle acted in bad faith and we will never forget.

    Kawhi didn’t just leave San Antonio. A bunch of players left San Antonio and the fans never hated any of them. Kawhi and his uncle shit on the entire franchise. The medical staff, the coaches, Manu, Tony. You probably weren’t a Spurs fan back then so maybe you didn’t care that much, but the entire fandom of NBA turned on the Spurs because of this. Everyone was saying that the Spurs were too arrogant, how they misdiagnosed Kawhi and such, when looking back now everyone can see clearly that the Spurs did nothing wrong. Kawhi simply wanted to go play in LA and he just enjoyed burning those bridges. Nah, fuck that human garbage.

    Kauai pulled the rug on a team that should have been playing for another championship. He decided he wanted out and took a minor injury and milked it for an entire season to get his way. Not only that he should have never gotten that championship in Toronto. Golden state was way better than them but they lost two of the best players of that generation so go I got the Toronto ring. Meanwhile the Spurs started stumbling down the mountain and could not recover from aging stars and a young Superstar who acted like an asshole. No we do not welcome him back in San Antonio nor do we like him. I understand that he was such an important part of that championship but what he did afterwards changed everything. The Spurs aren't my number one team but they kind of were back then. I understand that you don't get Victor if Kawhi Leonard doesn't sabotage the Spurs but it took so many years. He should have been the young building block for the next generation of Spurs and instead he tore the franchise down. I'm guessing that fans in Toronto feel a lot better about him because he was a one-and-done and got them probably the only championship they're going to get for the next 20 years. They didn't have to put up with a whole year of t
    Leonard sabotaging the team. You can listen to interviews with all of those guys that played on that Spurs team and they all just wanted him to start playing again and he wouldn't do it. People get on his teammates for going public sometimes but they couldn't figure out any other way to do it.
