Having the deepest team is not SGA's fault, but it is part of the context. You can't swap stars 1 for 1 to predict how it all would go because that changes roster building decisions. I think any issue with mvp may be when the voters don't take all context into considerations and say overall record is the first and main thing to evaluate. Those are team stats that affect the outcome for an individual award. Inexact science but context should matter

OKCs bench was very valuable in the regular season but now it's time for thd starters to take over the load and they had better be healthy like last year. JDub has missed more than half the season and he had better be playing throughout the postseason because they're going to need all hands on deck when they play the spurs. I've said for months that they need to replace Dort in the starting lineup with Mitchell or they will not repeat and i'm sticking to that. Dort is too one dimensional and inconsistent offensively. They got lucky he didn't lose it for them last year.
