Scottie Barnes doesn’t take over games offensively the way a franchise player should. I’d rather see him try to take over and fail than watch him stay passive while the team struggles offensively. Teams sag off Scottie all the time, sometimes 15 feet from the basket, while Brandon Ingram has defenders right up on him. If Scottie attacked more and got involved offensively, it would take a lot of pressure off BI and open the floor for both of them. They should be developing chemistry and becoming one of the best duos in the league, but for that to happen Scottie has to demand the ball and assert himself offensively every game.
This team is garbage. They can’t shoot the ball, and defense is a big issue. We paid too much for some of these players. I don’t see enough offense from Scottie. At this point, we should trade everyone and rebuild the team. Darko isn’t a great coach for this team. Raptor Bench is horrible i can't watch shead I am very disappointed to watch this team😢
I don’t think the coach is doing the team any favors right now. It feels like he’s so focused on development and talking about what the team could be in two or three years that winning this season isn’t really the priority.

I'm sorry to hear all this, man. You can take for granted teammates standing up for each other and defending each other's honor (to the point of getting tech'd up or ejected i.e. whatever the moment calls for), but clearly based on your testimony, when it's gone, you as a fan feel it.
Dillon Brooks and Kris Dunn are prime examples of teammates who won't back down for anything, and who disrespecting them or any of their teammates immediately provokes a response. You might lose them for the rest of the game, but the impact of their actions on the whole team is something you can't fake. It inspires guys, it brings them closer off the court, it facilitates a sense of going to war with your brothers every night. It creates a better unit. I saw the Raptors record the other day and was wowed (it's one of the only teams I have only seen play against my team this year despite how much league pass I watch), as I thought they were in rebuild hell. They have a solid winning record. But according to your judgement as a fan of theirs, that may be a fluke, and one not indicative of a squad on the rise. Bad team chemistry is poison, and bad coaching is regularly responsible for that. Players who aren't bought in won't care as much as ones who are.
So again Luca, I hate to hear that from you. I hope you see the changes you want to see soon, my friend.
I mean almost nobody thought they would be a top 4 team in the east this year or even win a playoff series before the season started. Most people predicted them to be between the 5th and 8th seeds. If they make the playoffs even with a high end play in tournament spot, it will technically not be a disappointing season relative to expectations and it will still be much better than last season.
I think the Raps are coasting right now. Trying out different line ups. Staying healthy for the playoffs. You don't wanna floor it the whole season and end up tired going into when it really counts. Its risky. Some times you can't just throw a switch and break the bad habits.
This is the reality of what this team is. Last season we finshed 11th seed and now it’s expected that since we got Ingram our team is going to be better so we did improve. Now we our a play in team. We’re not going to automatically become a top seed in just 1 season it takes time look at the pistons last season 6th seed now 1. I think this is what darko means when he says this is year 2 rebuild because he knows that we’re still developing and not there yet. But yes I agree with everything ur saying in the video.
