To be totally honest, I started worrying about this when I felt like I was watching Jokic give up this Summer, after Bogdanovic got hurt. I remember wondering if him doing that for Serbia would be even worse for the Nuggets.
This team started 20-6. We have gone 22 and 22 since that point in the season. We are a .500 team.
The elite teams pull it together. This isnt one.
Id rather have seen Mall rest and AG play, hes been resting all year. Or just give the bench the game. No need to run our guys down even further. As it is Joker looks like unibomber.
We can't make excuses regarding scheduling anymore. They're paid millions to get up play good basketball for like 6-7 months! No more excuses pls. What i saw on tbe court was a team that had no determination, drive. Jokic's energy affects the whole team and him constantly complaining and letting something he can't control get to his head. Leadership starts with him. You can clearly see in his eyes and his body language that he's having mental problems . His eyes don't have any spark of life or energy. Cam and CB were trying to inject some energy but the old timers just can't get it going.
Adelman needs to do a Malone and play all the starters 40 min a game.

I learned that Jamal is playing hurt from the DNVR podcast team. As a Spurs fan I have a ton of respect for Denver but I had no idea he was playing hurt with a bum shoulder since he looked great against my Spurs.
If he is hurt I think you have to rest him regardless of what it might mean for seeding and if it causes more losses down the stretch.
Your team can beat anyone when you’re 100% healthy, so you have to prioritize health because you need Jamal to be near 100% for the playoffs.
Pop always rested his stars down the stretch even when they had nagging injuries to get Tony Parker, Manu and Tim Duncan ready for the playoffs. I think you need to do the same with Jokic, Murray and Gordon, you’re big three.

They didn't discipline themselves early in the seaso and are paying the price now. Game planning didn't see it this year, unprepardness , being out of shape seems like the issue. New coach, jokic still out of shape, guys milking injuries or not playing through minimal injuries that put allot of miles on our better players at this point in the season.
