Jaylen Brown on Reaching a Balance with Jayson Tatum: “That’s Not Easy” | Postgame Interview

The Celtics beat the Suns 120-112 after Jaylen Brown’s impressive 41 point game. Jaylen Brown spoke on reaching a balance with Jayson Tatum after being in the MVP conversation:“I think JT is extremely important to us for what we want to do. Obviously, I’m having a great season, but then I have to just think, what’s the big picture? And sometimes that’s not easy, but always put the team first.”

  1. JB. JT. The. Best. Let's get. Ring. Again. Number. 2. Yes. Kept. It. B. Ball. White. Boys. Q. A. Is. Trouble. Making

  2. I understand the frustration over the repeat questions concerning the J’s, but it’s probably a necessary evil.. I feel like what JB was saying towards the end was “imma have to let my boy cook when he has it going, it’s my team this go around, but he’s definitely starting to get his groove back”.. All praise is due to the Most High 🙌

  3. I love jb…… and always been a positive with the JB JT mesh…… but this is JTs team…. wont be the same without the mesh!! But its blatantly obvious that JB is hurt and being a mad lil kid…. he should be happy to have JT bacc… but all im seeing is a selfish kid rn wit jb…….. it could have been u my ninja…. then what??!!!

  4. JB is the Real ALPHA.. He sacrifices a lot even before Tatum got Hurt, Everything happens for a Reason. And now he's proving himself as a Leader/Being 1A.

  5. They have been playing together as Celtics basketball team players. Both have sacrificed personal stats for the team to win! Too me both JB and JT perfect examples of Celtics ball! I've had season tickets since 1957 and have seen a lot of games. Celtics basketball has always been about team first! See you in Charlotte on the 29th!

  6. Seems like Manning is due another stare down this time from JT or JB. Or an "illegal screen" reply replaced by repetitive "banner 18". These guys have answered these dumb questions in 2024 for pretty much everyone outside of sensationalist hacks.

  7. JT needs to realize that Brown is actually on an MVP run and defer until he is back to himself. His driving and passing is great. Stop shooting 3's until he gets back right and play within the flow of the offense and let JB put pressure on the rim.

  8. Most of boston media guys dont know hoops and just follow eachother dumb takes ie they predicated them to tank.

  9. JT has to learn what JB did his whole career. Thats why JB plays so hard. He was overlooked. Now Tatum needs to get that fire and come with a vengeance

  10. we playing good ball man. love the production we getting from the supporting cast too. good to have JT back

  11. To be fair, attacking off two feet typically draws fewer foul calls, while driving off one leg often creates more vulnerability and contact, leading to whistles. I don’t see Jayson Tatum attacking off one leg very often, maybe once or twice a game, whereas Jaylen Brown tends to play more off two feet and doesn’t always get the same calls.
Also idk maybe its muslim thing and Silver and the other jewish owners just are hating on a man with that religion type because Brown plays the game so sound these days there's no way they should be screwing him this hard every night.
More broadly, it feels like officiating inconsistencies and league direction under Adam Silver may be impacting the product. There’s a perception that the league is emphasizing parity and smaller-market competitiveness, but historically, viewership has peaked when dominant teams or dynasties are featured prominently in the Finals.

  12. JB is already an all- time Celtic. That’s what a banner and a Finals MVP does. Sky is the limit now. Another banner and JB is an all-time NBA player. Really enjoy watching his journey.

  13. I feel like Browns perspective is kind of skewd at times, the team is built around him & JT. I get feeling underappreciated but that seems to stem from the outside.

  14. This dude is a real thinker, and it is great to see an athlete, in Boston, be this way. He challenges himself to learn as much truth as possible. And he is honest. Just a stand up, high character guy. Oh, and he is an absolute wolf on the court, and he continues to grow his impact on the game. A real leader. What an absolute great draft pick at number 3, and those boos have rightly turned to cheers. Great role model.

  15. Bobby asks these questions way too much you know it annoys both jays just calm down with this narrative war

  16. “This is not the best version” kinda scary given the fact they almost beat okc w/o Tatum&White
