SIR. I think you need to issue Wemby an apology and relay that you have misspoken. Wemby has not missed a SINGLE game this season due to "resting." He was INJURED. And Spurs made him play in restricted minutes for a stretch coming OFF of injury so as to not reaggravate it. That is NOT resting. If that's what you say, you can say the same for literally every other MVP candidate.

Ya'll aren't considering Wemby's minutes. Lakers NEED Luka to play 35.8 minutes per game, Spurs don't need that from Wemby to win. He WISHES he could play 35 minutes EVERY game but they don't always let him. But if you compare the 35+ minute games Wemby HAS played to Luka's 35+ minute games, Wemby averages 34.2 PPG to Luka's 33.8 PPG. PLEASE go look it up!! When he said "offense isn't just about points" he was literally firing shots.

Pistons have now ended the Hornets 9 game win streak, Knicks 8 game win streak and the lakers 9 game win streak without Cade or Isaiah Stewart. I knew they’d win that hame last night
Also they’re 11-2 when underdogs! Love it
They’re 8 and 2 without Cade, but 7 of those wins were against lottery teams. I was impressed to see them beat a top team last night I wasn’t sure how they’d do, because the other wins were against bad teams

People are overreacting to Wemby's statement. He was not cocky in saying what he did because HE WAS ASKED to produce a list in the interview, on the spot.
Nobody is saying Shai, Jokic, Luka, Cade can't make their own list to argue their case. No Spurs fan would be offended by this.
