  1. How do you feel about the Nets' chances of coming away with a star prospect in the 2026 NBA Draft? How do you feel about the team's path moving forward?

  2. This is the most random titles. Like, it means nothing. Every team needs luck… it's a lottery. Do better Erik.

  3. What's new as far as the opposing team's fans buying up all the tickets at Barclay Center. The sooner we become an good team again and incentivize season ticket holders living in Brooklyn then this will turn around overnight. It's one of the things that comes with being a losing team.

  4. The Nets are surprisingly tied in the loss column with the Pacers and Wizards after the loss to the Hornets. The top spot is still very much within reach.

  5. The Pacers are the most criminal in the way they have Tanked this season. They have been hard tanking from jumpstreet and you can pretty much see the calculation.

The pacers pick is protected 1-4 BUT the pick is also protected 10-30 they looked at that and said Nah we would rather tanked for entire season than be good enough to STILL get our pick 10-30.
The Pacers lost their star player for the year sucks but losing a key player for one year shouldn’t be a reason to completely tank a season which is pretty much what they decided to do. Imagine Boston did that? Well no Tatum let injury manage Brown the entire season like Pascal and tank the season away.

  6. If nets lose out the next 6 we are guaranteed to finish in last place. Reason being is we play the two teams below and if we lose those games we also lose the tie breaker. Therefore if nets/wiz/pacers all finish with the same record we would be counted as last because they would own the tie breaker.

With that being said that would only be luck to lose these last 6 because marks has never shown the guts to do such things. We would need to sit Claxton, Zaire, Clowney, Nolan along with the guys that are already sitting. Those 4 guys are the ones that energize everyone else to play hard and keep us in the game. No way marks pulls them though smh

  7. Brooklyn need a top 3 pick, no debate.
That’s how you flip the whole direction, not playing middle of the road. Everybody who got it right got there first. Detroit loading up. Spurs hit number one and changed the whole timeline. OKC built that run off high-end talent. Charlotte starting to show life off their young lottery core.

  8. We HAVE to get a top 2 pick. I have been a Nets fan since I was a kid in 1982 (Buck Williams was my fav player) and we are just due for some luck. I feel like it is now or never for this franchise. We just cannot get a break. Two Finals appearances are still the high point of our history outside of the ABA. We need a Jordan like, Curry like rookie to begin to turn this team around. It begins with a cornerstone from THIS draft.

  9. I think the team has talent going forward. I’d fully invest in Clowney at 5 if you get Boozer. I’d trade claxton and my pick to make that happen. I’d get a PG in4-6 range. I’d draft Flemings in that case. Getting Boozer should be the prerogative. Clowney can be claxton with a J. If I’m top 3 I’m taking Boozer, trading claxton for a 1st and using that pick on a Christian Anderson, Labaron Philon, mikal brown, even Tyler Tanner ( Jose Alvarado with a J ). Nolan is progressing. He can start next year with the rookie. I’d look at trading Saraf with claxton for a decent 1st. Mikal Brown or Christian Anderson.

  10. I wouldn't characterize the Nets as 'desperately' needing some luck on lottery night.

First point: There are things a team controls and things that they don't. They do control who they play and how hard they play to win, but they don't control how the lottery turns out. Last year was all about Cooper Flagg. Turns out the three and four picks were also pretty good. This draft could be very similar.

But why do I disagree with the word 'desperately' need luck? Because Brooklyn has many avenues to improve in this rebuild.
First, they have more draft picks over the next seven years. I believe only one is protected (Philadelphia top-8 likely to convey in 2028). These picks can be used in trades or in selecting players. They also have unprotected pick swaps with the Knicks and Suns in 2028. If the NBA flattens the lottery odds across 18 teams, all the unprotected picks and swaps become more valuable.
Secondly, Brooklyn has one of the best salary cap tables in the NBA. This gives them unique flexibility to make advantageous trades with teams looking to shed salary. The MPJ trade is a great example. But so was picking up former 10th pick Ziaire Williams + a second round pick for nothing AND recently picking up former 14th pick Agbaji + a second round pick for nothing. Of course, the Nets could also use the cap space to sign free agents.

So yes, Brooklyn could really use some luck. But they very likely will walk away with a good player in the upcoming draft. It would be awesome if they get a top 3 pick. But if they don't, they have many avenues to improve.

  11. BREAKING NEWS!!!

Jaden Ivy, formerly of the Chicago Bulls was cut for "conduct detrimental to the team" according to the Bulls and the NBA. However, he is actually getting punished for his anti-PRIDE DAY comments he made recently. This was FREEDOM OF SPEECH, NOT HATE SPEECH. The Nets should take a flyer on Jaden who can still play and would be a great locker influence despite his views.

  12. Nets make everything so complicated lol ownership needs to step in and sit everybody it’s no reason to win anymore games even sit Jordi at this point
