  1. I think Cleveland will be making a mistake offering Harden a new contract if they want James to return.

I’m not 100% certain Reaves returning to LAL to play off-Guard alongside Doncic is a sure thing. Remember, Reaves was the Lakers PG-of-the-future until they acquired Doncic. James returning to Cleveland on a non-MAX contract makes far more sense if he’s bringing Reaves with him as a free agent. Or, even Irving in a trade.

I believe Cleveland acquired Harden because of his name and stat-padding. Not because he’s a legitimate championship piece.
At least with Irving and Reaves you have a player with a championship history and previous player development relationship with LeBron, respectively. On top of that, Reaves hasn’t reached his ceiling. Harden has. I’m not convinced Harden is the clear better option over Irving and Reaves.

  2. Let LeBron stay where he is. He has shown very little loyalty to this town. Yes, I appreciate the NBA title which was earned when he was last here but he did not do it by himself. He left this organization strapped for talent and salary cap room. So if he wants to come here for one game to retire fine but as far as being an integral part of this franchise…we’ll the Cavs value the talent that we have now.
