Wemby obviously going through what Giannis did during playoff. He will figure that out because he has a better jumper and much longer body. He needed to develop that back to the basket move for playoff use eventually.

The game between the two lived up to all expectations (unlike SGA vs. Luka). The game was close, down to 2 points. Both Wemby and Jokic had very good stats. Wemby played 4-5 fewer minutes. The experience of Jokic and his teammates proved decisive in the end. I hope the next SGA vs. Jokic matchup will be of the same caliber. That's what we expect from MVP contenders and top teams.
I could see Wemby struggling on defence against Jokic, and it was even harder for him to dominate the paint against the Denver defence. They really gave him a hard time, and it was literally impossible to stop Jokic from scoring in clutch time to win the game for the Nuggets.
The last fadeaway from Jokic shot was a very tough shot to make.

I like Wemby, though this game showed he’s truly not a Center, which is fine. He’s definitely evolving into a “Put the ball down and drive” player. He catches that ball out on the wing way too much, though he’s obviously effective.
He absolutely has the size and skill to guard Centers, which is cool. But he plays like a forward, hands down. He never tried getting in the post with Joker on him, and the Nugs did a decent job keeping joker off of him when he wanted to camp out at the 3 before his penetrations.
Adelman is completely right, both are phenomenal players, they do it very differently.
