"Expectations".. Blazer fans have expectations now. They see this team winning, and hope for more improvement. What is a normal part of NBA fandom, sometimes gets twisted & slammed back towards Blazer fans after losses. "What did YOU expect ?!?" … geesh, calm down, it's just basketball.

Making the playoffs allows us to convey the pick to Chicago and ensure that we will have a first rounder in 2028 to potentially swap with the Bucks. No pick means no swap so we need to ensure we have conveyed the pick by then
Any draft pick this season isn't going to make an impact next season. Getting the young guys on our team some playoff experience is worth more than whomever we might draft.
