  1. You guys complain about the roster way too much outside of Spurs, OKC and maybe Denver, teams aren't 10 deep. And other coaches play young players so they develop while JJ doesn't

  2. 😂 i live in Florida.,bruh bruh Trevor keeps looking down. When the other 2 are talkingLooking like he's distracted because he's seen one of those flying roaches, they call Palmetto, Bugs fighting one of those lizards that they have everywhere in Florida. About finger length or a little longer😂

  3. Only one interesting question– can Lakers win first round against Houston if all remaining players play at their best.

  4. “Sign Austin to a team friendly deal, sign LeBron to a team friendly deal, hit on your first round pick, sign 2 more players” 😂😂😂😂

  5. Need LA to play super physical tomorrow. Play the same intensity of defense as OKC and Detroit against their opponents. Doesn't matter if OKC get 100 free throws or whole LA team fouls out. They just need to go out there and play super physical, no free layups, no easy uncontested hosts, no dunks make sure Thunder players hit the ground hard each time.

  6. It’s so obvious Austin Reaves is a HOF 6th man (Lou will, ginobli, Crawford). He should not be #1 or #2 option, which always shows in tough matchups and in the playoffs… #1 & #2 options are supposed to Rise, not fall.

  7. It would not have mattered if JJ played the deep part of the bench more. Those guys suck and it wouldn't have made them enough better to even matter. They are garbage

  8. 30:18 💯

Feels like no one else is saying this. Losing Luka for next season is literally one of if not the worst outcomes possible. Did nobody see what happened to Haliburton last year? Lillard? Tatum?

  9. Totally agree with Jovan about how much Austin's gonna get. The nice thing would be if instead of raises, they can have it start at the max but then have it be flat (i.e. 42 million every year) or even slightly descending. That would be the hometown discount – rather than a full max. Anyone that thinks he's gonna get 30 mil or less per year is crazy. That's just not realistic.

  10. The biggest silver lining is, we got Mark Walter, Luka and AR. Start from there.

  11. For 2026-27, this will sound like hate, but for his price tag, Austin Reaves is by far not the ideal co-star for Luka. Another ball dominant guard with little to no defense, despite being a very good off ball shooter, is not who you want as your 2nd max player next to Luka.

They need a co-star who can get a bucket at any given time, while being a plus presence on defense, while also being able to be a ball handler, and preferably a forward. There are, what, 5 near star to star caliber players in the whole league with that profile? Maybe even fewer.

It's kind of… ironically hilarious that LeBron would be IDEAL for that role… 5 years ago. 42yo LeBron just can't bring that level night in and night out, particularly on defense, if he needs to also be 30-35% of the offense.

  12. I love this channel because I feel like I have friends I can be depressed with when the Lakers are in trouble (which is for the most part of the season). I don't like to be depressed alone.

  13. Following some thoughts made during this podcast, and agreeing we should focus already on next season: would a roster like this be feasible and make sense? to keep: Luka, AR, Smart, Lebron, Jake, Jax, Luke, Thiero, Bronny. to flip: Vando, Knecht. to sign on FA: Keon Ellis, Thybulle, Kessler and two veteran (big wing + center) on the minimum

  14. Naz shoulder is fucked too. His shooting splits have fallen off a cliff. Without his shooting he’s useless. MN is banged up too

  15. Austin is not taking a pay cut they already offered a pay cut deal what is Jason talking about
