  1. The 7, 8, and 9 seeds are pretty good. It might take them 7 games without Wemby, but they can hold up the fort for a little bit.

  2. I have been really surprised Wemby has played as much as he has this year. I would probably keep his minutes 20-25 a night.

  3. If I know the spurs.. they could be using this to get him some rest.. because he got hit in the arm not anywhere near the rib.. if you know the spurs this is what they do.. he might play less minutes until the nuggets game

  4. For the storyline, this is how Wemby wins MVP – SGA is pinning Wemby in the corner, but if Wemby guts it out despite injury and has remarkable results, he can still win MVP. If he sits, it's a wrap. If he plays, it could negatively impact playoffs, but then again the Spurs are deeeep…!

  5. I love Wemby but he’s so fragile. I just don’t get it. But if he’s out for 3 weeks or so I don’t think SA will go very far.

  6. Some idiots are talking about fragility; no, no, and no.
For such a stupid gesture, which isn't even proper defense! Just the frustration of a player past his prime, clinging on desperately! And with Wemby having played 17 minutes total, meaning three more minutes to complete his 64th match! What a terrible mistake this senseless act by Paul George is! Why on earth?

  7. Too many people talking about he needs his rest or he needs to play. He only needs one more game to qualify for awards. We have Portland next then Dallas and finish the season with Denver. We have no reason going into a dog fight with Denver in the last game of the season and ruin his rest time leading up the playoffs. He just got hurt so let him sit against Portland who’s trying for a higher play off spot. Let him play a bit of Dallas hitting his minutes and then pull him out and rest til the playoffs. After the past loss to Denver the mvp is out of grasp while the dpoy is locked.

  8. They should've played him that other game instead of resting him with that fake injury, now look what happened. He could've rested the rest of the season.

  9. Thanks for the update Keenan. Ribs don't worry me nearly as much as shoulders. As a fan, I care more about his availability for the playoffs than any personal awards.
