Pelicans beat the Jazz, Mavs now 7th in the lottery. And yeah, there's a reason why I'm such a fan of Wagler…the guard situation has been an utter absolute mess without Kyrie. Even with Kyrie the guard rotation is kinda WTF? At this point I'm just hoping that BWilly or Nemby can develop into a quality 6th man. But not really holding my breath.

man, this is going to be a very unpopular opinion probably, but if our draft spot is in the 3-6 area this upcoming draft, i think a good option is to make a trade package surrounding it to get giannis. i understand trying to build a young nucleus for the future with two young superstar potential players but you just never know what can happen in the process of seeing them reach their prime. maybe they dont pan out, maybe one of them gets disgruntled or maybe their prime doesn't reach the heights we would have thought. i think knowing that we have an almost sure thing in cooper flagg to achieve his expectations or even exceed it, why not develop him through championship culture at an early age ala kobe bryant when he was paired with shaq early in his career? All while still being the main focus of the future for after kai and giannis are out of their prime. granted that would mean we would have to get rid of key role players, but i just feel like a trio of kai/giannis/cooper will be a nightmare to deal with on offense and defense. idk
