Thunder Pour It On Lakers, Spurs Win 11 Straight, Luka’s Hobbled & More | The Association: Post Up

Spurs win their 11th consecutive game despite Wemby’s absence, which is also their 27th win in their last 29 games — easily the best stretch in the NBA. Meanwhile in a primetime showdown in OKC, the Thunder put on an offensive clinic in a rout over the Lakers. And bad news got worse for LA, as Luka came up limping with an apparent lower body injury in the second half.

  1. Ppl complaining Wemby resting, that's what happens without proper load management. By Luka again.

  2. Luka is known to fake injuries when he’s down bad and can’t spam step back 3s. The dude walked off the court with no limp. I pulled my hamstring a bunch of times playing football, you can barely walk on it without that burning sensation.

  3. Y’all wanna show replays of Dort’s fouls during different games but can’t even mention he got whacked above the shoulders on a dunk attempt and had to leave the game. Gotcha. Thunder up!

  4. Do not underestimate the positive impact that all the injuries to the starters for OKC. All those bench players got starts.

There was a game they started not a single regular starter

  5. Would this have been so lopsided if Luka hadn't gotten injured? I don't think so. The Lakers would have lost anyway but not like that. I don't think any different 'statement' was made other than that the Lakers can't handle the Thunder or the Spurs regardless of who is on the court.
    SHOUT OUT TO JADEN IVEY!!
