I watched a LOT of college ball in the late 60's and throughout the 70's. Was fortunate to live in an area that got a tv feed from Los Angeles, so every game night at midnight I could watch the Bruins and the fabulous Bill Walton. Good memories! It's so much fun, 45 years later, to be watching basketball again and I am a devoted Spurs fan. Wemby drew me in (because he reminded me in many ways of Walton) and I have become acquainted with the team members thanks to the post-game interviews like this one.
I've always been a fan of a fast game and it's such a pleasure to see Fox weave through the crowded field and score, seemingly at will. One thing I always notice about the players is their love of the game and their teammates – this interview with Fox is a prime example of the joy I feel from the entire team. Fox has done an excellent job of giving up some of his scoring so the younger players have more opportunities to learn and grow. Every team would be lucky to have a mentor like De'Aaron!
Great work Fox
Not a lot of people understand how much he’s sacrificing he’s a guy who averaged 25 for 4 straight years on a playoff team with 50 wins and now he’s averaging 18. They say keldon sacrifices but the teams he was scoring on were terrible teams with like 20 wins Fox was leading a team in the playoffs.
Playoffs here gonna need him to be a lil more selfish now
I’m just happy Fox succeeded
