Kon, way better on the offensive end and doesn’t make positioning mistakes on defense. Cooper shots the ball an additional 25% per game so only having 1 more ppg essentially while having comparable rebounds and assists per game makes this a no brainer in my opinion. By better on offense, I’m referring to the fact that Flagg struggles to make shots beyond the free throw line and his efficiency is nothing in comparison to Kon

Outside of record and threes made there’s really no debate, it’s Flagg. Flaggs on a worse team, in a worse situation for him, yet he’s still putting up better number then kon, he’s played better defense then kon, and he’s broken far more records then kon.

Flagg has better numbers and the best defensive rating of all rookies. Team records have never mattered when it comes to ROTY voting. Hell, the spurs only won 22 games when Wemby won it. Kon is benefiting from having a better team and getting those open 3’s to make. I like Kon, but he’s really made his living making 3’s.
