Does Jason Kidd's involvement in The Luka Trade change your opinion of him?
Kidd was a Luka merchant. He had missed the playoffs more than he's made it with the Mavs
It confirms that Cuban, Kidd, Dumont, Aldersons, and Nico were perfect for each other and are basketball terrorists. Jason has always been fishy and this confirms it, esp after seeing how Luka avoided him every time the Lakers played the Mavs. They ruined Luka, AD, and Christie's lives and what is worst is they hurt Luka so bad, which is unforgivable. It's a miracle any of them walk around Dallas in peace. Which is sad because I used to respect Cuban when everyone else I knew didn't. Everyone in management should leave before things get worst in Dallas for them.

Kidd knew , and as far as him being a good or even decent head coach the record speaks for itself! He’s a failure at coaching he himself has said in the past when he said that Luka was the game plan that he just let Luka do it when he was on the floor
Now 1 year later…. Lakers went from Play-In contenders to TOP 3 in the Western Seed contenders for Play-Offs (cuz of effing Luka ofc) while Mavs on the other hand had falled outside of Play-Ins. You see whenever I try to see the current standings… I always had a reminiscence of 2023 to 2024 Mavs Era where Mavs went from being snubbed into 4th seed and even went to finals after defeating Wolves. Yeah sure you have Coop and I have nothing against Coop cuz he's one heck of a player but if you're only counting Coop as your ace on your sleeve then you're only gonna get that far. Don't even give me crappy excuse of like if Kyrie, Gafford or whatever is available then the Mavs has whatever it takes…. THE KEYWORD IS "IF AVAILABLE" a player is a contender and valuable based on their availability. Also with no one doing the play making pr facilitating the offense to draw attention and be marked leaving for open-wide opportunity is what makes Luka even special.
I love it when we are told to get over it. Bostonians vented about the Curse of the Bambino for over a century. Kidd said it would be cool if this trade is like that trade. Now, live with the accountability.

The Dallas Stars are by far the best sports franchise in Dallas right now and the way they do business compared to the Mavs is completely opposite. The ego’s in the NBA are insane compared to hockey and the NHL.

Exactly there is nothing to move on to. The worst ownership in sports history is also being judged on the team as if Coop didn't exist because the trade was executed under that premise.
I get being frustrated with Luka but did he really trust Nico to get a goof enough trade for it because Nico got fired and Kidd is back to coaching a rebuild team that isn’t going anywhere for a few years.
