  1. It's honestly unbelievable – Cooper is showing this level of resistance and competitiveness against Wembanyama, and it's only his rookie season. And he's doing it while being surrounded by players who are basically G League-level talent.
His mid-range game is insane – the consistency and confidence he has in knocking down those extremely difficult mid-range shots is just on another level. That's real professional mastery at only 19 years old.
    That's genuinely greatness.
And once his three-point shot fully clicks, he's going to be one of the most dangerous players in basketball history. And the crazy part is he will get there, because he's the kind of guy who's going to work relentlessly every single summer in the gym. His mentality and work ethic are something only a handful of players in history have ever had.

In 2-3 years, the league is going to be under Cooper's control.

Most 30/5/5 games by a rookie this season:

    6 — Cooper Flagg
4 — All other rookies combined.

  2. NBA Leaders (across all ages): 25+ Points in a Half

    12- Luka Dončić

    10- Donovan Mitchell

    8- Kawhi Leonard

    8- Jamal Murray

    7- Anthony Edwards

    6- Jaylen Brown

    5- Stephen Curry

    5- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

    4- COOPER FLAGG

  3. Cooper Flagg (33 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists) has recorded his sixth career 30-point, 5-rebound, 5-assist game tonight at San Antonio.

Flagg has more 30-5-5 games than the rest of this year’s rookie class combined (4). No other rookie has more than one.

  4. Did this with 1 floor spacer out there in Max Christie and basically no centers out there as Bagley left the game early.

  5. I still remember the first game of the season. First play was in transition, AD lobs to Flagg but he doesn't make it. Now it's almost the end of his rookie season and he's way more comfortable out there.

  6. I really hope the Mavs games next year against the spurs will be different with Cooper, Kyrie, and maybe a dominant forward from the draft. Coop plays well in tank mode but hopefully next year the Mavs are a serious playoff contender.

  7. Woooow!
Cooper Flagg can score against anybody! Even against Wembanyama!

He is already a Superstar in his very first year in the NBA. He scores, he defend, he pass, rebound, he does everything a superstar does.

Asking if he is the ROTY is even an insult to our intelligence.

  8. off topic but can we please sign john pouladakis to a long term deal? he just turned 23 shoots like 40% from 3 and plays defense and 6’10 wingspan too

  9. He might be the second best player in the world right now…the problem is the 7 5 guy plays like him buts hes 8 inches taller

  10. It’s no longer about Rookie of the Year. It’s about Coop being the most exciting player in the league and one of, if not THE best all around player in the game – at 19!!!!

  11. This isn’t stat padding btw. Coop was being full court pressed from the time the game started. He then tied the game 83-83. He got subbed out and then the spurs went on a 17-0. He also had great efficiency.
