LaMelo Ball | Charlotte Hornets vs. Detroit Pistons | Full Box Score

Not a good 4th quarter at all for LaMelo and the Hornets, although he still showed up today. Hornets need to show up big on Sunday so they don’t play against Heat away.

LaMelo Ball had a statline of 27 points (7/20 from the field (6/16 3PT, 7/7 FTs)), 5 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 4 turnovers, and 3 fouls.

All footage belongs to the NBA.

  1. Detroit looks tough, they contest a lot of shots, and fight for loose balls. Charlotte needs to win games if they want to get into the later playoff rounds.

  2. The amount of off ball fouls that caused turnovers and weren’t seen was insane. Like Detroits got a deep squad so they are happy to foul all game long and I feel like the refs just miss them because there’s so much contact on and off ball and they just call the very obvious ones. then the other team is forced to match the physicality, but Detroit just better at playing dirty. This is the type of game that could look completely different based on the officiating. Like the amount of uncalled fouls on Kon tonight was insane and lamelo had a few too. And they’re just constantly fouling off ball too. Honestly a hard watch. Good examples tonights are.. kon getting pushed out of court on his 3 point attempt and no call, Hiw do you miss that as a ref? Lamelo driving in getting pushed in the back by Ausar and then pushed by stewart. Kon on the hand off getting pushed in the back by lavert which caused a turnover and easy two points. Even the foul challenge by the hornets they ignored the reason for the challenge and the refs were like yep diabetes fouled him BUT the reason for the challenge was Isiah Thomas holding Diabates arm then pushing him in the back which caused the contact on the shooter. I really don’t trust the reffing of Detroit it feels like there’s an agenda to bring back the BAD BOY PISTONS.
