It’s quite the opposite, the rockets are the easy choice for LA. Rockets are the weakest team in playoffs. On top of that they have 0 experience besides KD

But now at 41 i dont think he has the legs to score 30 every game AND get 13-14 defensive rebounds a game like he always used to do. And thats one of lakers main problems. They suck at rebounding.
