The NBA playoffs are almost here, and today’s video is nothing short of massive for the Oklahoma City Thunder. This OKC Thunder news update covers the final day of the regular season, and Ryan Breeden fills you in on how Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets are about to throw a major wrench in OKC’s path to another title. The Thunder beat Denver in a 7-game series last season thanks to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA), and despite contrary belief, it looks like they may have to do it again this time around. The Western Conference standings are going to change on the final day with this big NBA Injury News (or shameless tanking news) that involves the Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs. It looks like SGA, JDub, Chet Holmgren, Ajay Mitchell, Isaiah Hartenstein and the Thunder squad are going to have to do it the hard way this playoffs.

Thunder Digest covers the latest reports, news and rumors regarding the Oklahoma City Thunder. 1. If they prefer to play OKC in the 2nd round that’s on them. Obviously they arent taking the playoffs seriously this year.

  2. Hello I subscribed about a couple of months ago and I’ve watched almost every video I missed a couple because of work and just never got around to watching it but I’m really enjoying the content keep it up 👍❤

  3. I don't blame Denver. If OKC was sitting for an easier draw, it can give Denver a mental edge to say, "We don't care. We'll face you whenever." And, if OKC concedes anything there, that's on them. They could've made a statement vs Denver and went into the playoffs with even more confidence against them.

It could hurt or help them, like you said. But both teams have good reason not to play any of these games. Injury has been a big issue for both of them. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

  4. You all have nothing to worry about with Denver. You match up well against them. Your Hartenstein/Chet combo matches up with Jokic/Gordon and SGA can cook Jamal Murray. Jamal Murray is a great scorer offensively but he’s not a great defender so you can beat him with speed. Then as the Spurs showed in their matchups, you can beat Denver in transition if you push the pace because they are slow in getting back on defense.

Jokic has like 30 pounds on Wemby so he can back him down and shoot over him with his fadeaway with needed as we saw in the last game. My Spurs need to look at other ways to counter and attack Jokic. Perhaps by finding other ways to get Wemby matched up on Jokic so we can attack him directly and get him foul trouble. Gordon is athletic enough to stay in front of Wemby like Chet and few other big men in the league can. That’s why Denver always wants him on Wemby. He’s their best counter to Wemby defensively.

  5. Bruh,Aaron Gordon didnt play in That last game, last year. Your basketball memory sucks. With AG,the nuggets would have won like Pacers would've won with Hali.

  6. This has nothing to do with the second round. Denver knows they aren’t winning in the second round unless there are significant injuries to the Spurs or Thunder. They just want to get those bonuses for a first round victory.

  7. Thunder now have one of the hardest runs in history. The narrative is already written, wembys story vs Tatums comeback story is already a done deal. Ggs

  8. They are dodging the wolves just to get eliminated in the 2nd round. 🤣 If they’re worried about the wolves in the first round don’t expect them to win this playoffs with that mentality.

  9. Aren't you being disingenuous here? On the one hand, you condemn Denver for a "shameless tankjob" against SA to angle for an easier path to the playoffs (really, there is NO one easy path). But you conveniently forget to mention that OKC sat all its rotation players in their last game against Denver to push the Nuggets into the Spurs' side of the bracket. If OKC just wanted to rest its players, why can't Denver do the same?

  10. People also forget that the Thunder were 2 Aaron Gordon shots away from beating the Nuggets in 5…

  11. I’m a Nuggs fan so I’m hoping the absolute worst for y’all this off season (excluding injuries of course)… All love tho 🙏🏽

  12. Honestly, I don't care. OKC gets no respect from anyone anyway in the media or in the rest of this country. So even if we blow through and win the whole thing, people are going to still make up reasons why we won or try to push some other narrative. We continuously beat Denver so I don't think that's a problem for us. Let the chips fall as they may. We still have a great team and we should be nothing but proud of them! They're only going to get better. And they have shown time and time again, that when it comes time to step up and win a big game, they can do it. So let us have to play Denver and the Spurs, OKC is good enough to be all of them. And let the Spurs and these other teams get overconfident because OKC has shown time and time again that when we are counted out by everyone else, we step up and make them eat their words.

  13. Everyone is resting their players and letting it fall how it falls. Theres no reason to risk a players health for seeding

  14. Go Nuggets !! We would rather play OKC – why u ask ? OKC has awesome depth that would be detrimental to Denver in ensuing rounds . So while Denver is relatively fresh the sooner we meet and beat OKC the better

  15. Well, may the best of the 3 top teams win. I just hope everyone makes it through without injuries. Both OKC and Denver have had to deal with that all year

  16. After seeing what okc did to the Lakers recently and know we have the number one overall seed now throughout the playoffs I don't think it really matters who we play. Nobody is beating the Thunder in a 7 game playoff series with them having home court advantage. I would have to see them lose to believe it. This team just now finally is at full strength and the playoff version is going to be even more powerful because the defensive intensity gets much higher as well as the overall effort. The shit's about to get real.

  17. Thunder fans are cocky and will be humbled. Didnt the thunder lose against denver to avoid them in the 2nd round. Not only would the spurs smack up the thunder in a 7 game series, the nugget want all the smoke too. Lol, nobody is afraid of the thunder. If the refs don't favor okc again then watch out. Spurs have the DPOY and the nuggets have the best player in the world in Jokic and owns the number 1 scoring offense.

  18. Lakers are cooked regardless and it doesn’t matter what seed.😂😂 even if they get to the second round they’re cooked on either side
