As a Celtics fan, this loss was frustrating, but we had no JB, Tatum didn't shoot well, and it took Josh Hart to have a career game for the Knicks to barely beat us. I like our chances more☘

This is not unusual for Taytum. It is not the injury. He was always like this before too. (only in the big moments though, he is great in quarters 1 – 3)

JT is great!!
His rebounding is on another level and his shots are starting to fall
But Jayson was horrendous is the final 4 minutes when it was neck and neck.
His turnovers, and not being aggressive like JB by taking it to the basket, and complaining about missed calls cost us the game.
I know he's 11 months removed from an Achilles injury but he was like this in the clutch before the injury.
With the game on the line Jaylen Brown is gonna get buckets or free throws.
With the game on the line Jalen Brunson is gonna get buckets or free throws.
With the game on the line more times than not, JT gonna turn the ball over or miss shots and give the game away.
That's why we need Jaylen Brown back with the quickness

Knicks needed a legacy hart game plus no jb
People hating on Tatum 7-22 but brown was 9-29 their last game.
Lowkey knicks are a kryptonite, I dont really like the fans but this team annoys me with how they never die and I respect that fully. Hopefully we get a rematch in the playoffs at some point
As a Celtics fan I'm going to keep saying this because I feel we underestimate the Knicks, but they are the only team I believe can beat us in a 7 game series in the eastern playoffs. They have the length on the perimeter to bother Tatum and Brown enough to wear if the others aren't stepping up, the Knicks can get to us.
I also don't know why we didn't put Brunson in the pick and roll more often yesterday. It felt like Joe was holding some things back. It's going to be a fantastic second round playoff series.

Knicks fans are adorable lol Tatum is barely at 75% coming off a 10 month achilles injury, and they had no JB, the teams best player and top 5 player in the NBA right now. And y'all still almost lost at home. That's NOT something to be super psyched about. Not saying the Knicks can't beat the Celtics, they obviously can and they're a great team. But it's gonna be a hard series for either team. This "We own the Celtics" BS is the dumbest ish I've ever seen. Knicks haven't made the finals since 1999 lol Y'all need to actually achieve something before you get this cocky. Celtics haven't even thought of the Knicks at all until last year.
Quit fading away & shooting jumpers. Go to the hole & be strong JT. Every other phase of his game is good.
We will be in the finals with everyone healthy. Knicks only won because JB was out & Tatum & White couldn’t hit the basket with a beach ball.
