Everything is falling in place for the HAWKS! Knicks match up on a improbable day that the Magic were going to lose against a Celtics team sitting all their rotation players.
This narrative that Harden is a choker is over exaggerated. When has he come up short? Against stacked, established teams with hall of famers on it. Not up and comers. Harden has dropped 50 this year. His numbers are still elite and should have made the allstar game. As soon as he was traded to the Cavs he made that team better. I even said they are the best team in the East after that trade. I wanted the Hawks to have no part of them in the first round. They cause too many issues that the Hawks can not counter. 2 Hall of fame guards that can drop 40-50 and get 10 plus assist. 2 Defensive minded athletic seven footers that have made allstar teams and one a DPOY. HAWKS WERE NOT GETTING PAST THAT IN THE FIRST ROUND!!!
Now they get a Knicks team with subpar players and holes in their line ups. Mikal Bridges and O.G.are inconsistent and are just solid wings. Just dont let Hart out huslte you. You are playing a midget and a big man that can be messed with mentally when the tough get going. Get physical with the Knicks and they will break. This match up is far more better to manage than scrambling around trying to trap Harden or Mitchell and they throwing lobs or bounce passes to their bigs for the dunk. Or playing great defense just to give up an offensive rebound.
