The Boston Celtics Depth Just Went OFF In The Final Game

Baylor Scheierman erupted for a career-high scoring performance, showing a complete offensive game far beyond just shooting as he carved up the Orlando Magic with confidence and control. All of it came within Joe Mazzulla’s system, where structure, spacing, and trust allowed him to step into a bigger role and deliver when the Celtics needed it most.

  1. I want Garza to get more minutes. Like Vuc is a better player, but Garza's energy and shooting gives him true value in a 3-bigs rotation in my opinion. They could keep both Vuc and Queta more rested, and Garza can give good minutes. I'm sorta surprised it's not being implemented in the gameplan.

Harper Jr. had looked good every time he got any minutes too. I think Celtic's depth could be a real X factor

  2. Sherman made a defensive clutch play at the end on top of an incredible offensive explosion that was crazy

  3. the second Unit is incredibly strong, Probably stronger than tha First unit of Celtics, watching from Philippines, a celtics nation

  4. Delano Banton and Amari Williams are not going to get meaningful minutes that lead to improvement, but they will grow confidence in time with a few more games like these. This was a smart move by Mazulla. Amari would learn the screen-and-roll by watching Luka Garza and perfecting the skill. This is where Queta's game took a leap this year. Neemi gets 4-5 layups, dunks, and putbacks that are extremely high-percentage shots, with the ancillary benefit of offensive rebounds from rolling to the rim. Amari already shoots the three and passes. Banton should spend time with Jalen Brown in the weight room to learn how to use and develop lower and upper body strength to get leverage and in the paint shots.

  5. I honestly can't believe how good of a coach Mazzulla is. Thank goodness Udoka couldn't keep it in his pants.
