I would Start Smart/Jake/Rui/LBJ/Ayton vs. HOU and put Smart on Amen & Jake on KD!!!
• Double/Trap KD the entire Game to keep His Numbers around 25P a Game.

• Smart keep Amen between 10P-15P a Game (Amen is the player We have to keep in chec(k) to Win Series).

The hope is that Lakers can hold it together like Brunson did vs Jazz when Luka had to miss the first 3 games of that series and still win in 6. They were then able to beat Suns in 7 and go to WCF.

I was not supposed to tell this but i will. Luka had to leave because he ahd to finalize his divorce, if he did not make it in time his ex would get half of his estate. He left in time and hes ready to roll. Just watch what happens, Luka will arrive first away game against the Rockets 😉

People were out of the f**** minds saying the Lakers were going to beat Minnesota last year. Minnesota had a top 10 offense and a top 10 defense- The literal definition of a championship team and they weren't even one the very best in the west. With all due respect, The Lakers being the favorites was one of the dumbest takes in sport history. That is not a brag at all. It was just blatantly obvious
Also why do they keep saying there is a talent gap or discrepancy in this series? So Thompson is probably the 3rd best player. But Rui, Kennard, Smart, Ayton are just as good as the other 4 you can name from Houston. Sengun is inconsistent af. His ceiling may be higher but there isn't a huge gap in any talent. They acting like this Rockets squad is OKC lite.

The people who call LeBron a flopper are either haters or they disagree with him politically. I'm not a hater but I am on the same side as those who hate him for political reasons. Which means I spend a lot of time arguing with people I agree with on most subjects for their ignorant takes on LeBron.
Austin and Luka are both injury prone. I would not pay top dollar for Austin 35 Million/yr max.
The glaze is amazing. Luke Kennard and Austin aren’t far apart. Luka and Austin are both cones. Jovan can downplay the last three wins. But Luka and AR feasted on mid teams and exposed against very good teams!
I think this is a 1st rd series where JJ and coaching staff need to play mad scientist… Throw curve ball after curve ball at Houston, and take all the chances with shooting and scheming… To me the Lakers extend this series with their hot shooting stretches…a Luke heater here, a Rui scorcher there, even Knecht and Nick Smith Jr. spurts can help take this to a Game 6…ofcourse with a 35 pt triple double from LeBron for a couple of these games… And hoping for both Luka and AR to be back end of this month…. And take it from there….

Rui and LeBron without Austin and Luka on the court this year is a +17.1 on 400 possessions this year. The rebounding is bad but this idea that Rui and LeBron can’t play together just isn’t true when it’s just them.
