The Scariest Team In The NBA Isn’t Who You Think

The Scariest Team In The NBA Isn’t Who You Think

The longest active playoff drought in the NBA doesn’t belong to Sacramento or Brooklyn. It belongs to Charlotte.

But this year something’s changed. It hasn’t been a full overhaul. Charlotte is shooting every half-open three they get and they’ll never pass up an opportunity for a flashy pass. But now they’re getting back on defense and fighting for every possession.

This season, they’re leaving games with the same smiles they arrived with. For the first time in a long time, they’re having fun over in Buzz City.

  1. I hate when people say someone isn't a winning player. Sure there are skillsets that have fallen out of favor in the league. But when people write off guys with talent on bad teams, it's just sad. Lamelo, Miller, Knuppel, & Coby aren't each perfect players, but together they have one of the most electric shooting teams in the league this year. All the love to the Hornets fans, they've been waiting for this.

  2. Back during the Lamelo video, I gave him a vote of confidence–all he needed was a solid chance. And as good as it is to see that I was right, seeing them do THIS well is such a delight. I've only followed the nba seriously since the start of last years' playoffs, but I think these Hornets have found a new dedicated fan in me

  3. I view the Hornets similarly to the player character of Dark Souls.

They may die in just a few hits , but if you aren't careful they'll pull a fast one and kill an unknowable god entity.

  4. Until my Bulls get back on track I'm rooting for the Hornets. I live in NC now so I feel some connection

  5. …it was mo diabate. …it was!? i mean boy he was good but, damn!! oh, of course it was kon😂

  6. Hawks have as good of a chance at making a run. Hawks have been playing just as well since the all star break and have an easier first round matchup. If they both won their series then they would play each other and imo that currently a toss up.

  7. W vid, fun times are ahead of us. Hopefully, they can stay healthy! Thanks for the content <3

  8. This video is immaculate. The edits, background music, narration, graphics, etc. All compiled together masterfully. 🫡 💎3️⃣

  9. "He was still playing like he had one AirPod in his ear " – That really sums up LaMelo's playing style. He's like Jazz Chisholm. We know his good but he seem like never takes anything seriously at all.

  10. I'm afraid the Hornets are slowly becoming overrated. They just lost to both the Pistons and Celtics in crucial games to avoid the 9-10 matchup and now we are expecting them to A: win both play-in games and B: scare the Pistons? I don't see it and believe it would already be a huge achievement if they can win both play-in games. I think the Hawks are the dark horse in the East.

  11. 2:43 nah this is revisionist history. Even us hardcore hornets fans were hoping for like 30 wins this year. Didn’t even expect to be in the play-ins. This year was expected to be a developmental year for the rookies and an assessment of Lamelo Ball and Brandon Miller’s future on the team. We thought we might have to start Mason Plumlee because we had no good bigs 😂 Thankfully we were all wrong, and no matter what the post-season outcome is, the Hornets have played an amazing season and have a very exciting future
