What's different? Well Jamal is healthy, Minnesota's defenses is 8th not 1st, the Wolves don't have Towns — the only player who I think actually bothers Jokic — and Denver has more than 6 playable guys.
Still an exciting matchup but I would actually be pretty surprised if Denver struggles with Minnesota. I could see Ant going off a couple times like Booker did in 2023 and it going 6 but a gentleman's 6 not a hard fought 6.
Everybody writes off the wolves in the first round…don’t be shocked when they upset denver
Denver's bench is MUCH better this year than last. Jokic is better than last year. Murray shifted gears this year, and is ALSO better than last year. With Payton Watson, Spencer Jones, Tim Hardaway Jr., Jonas Valanciunas, Bruce Brown, Julian Strawther, etc., Denver goes a legitimate 11-deep. David Roddy is going to give Aaron Gordon some rest during games. He's not as long, but outweighs Gordon by 20 pounds. I already put my money on the Serbian. If the Nuggets stay healthy, I don't see anyone beating them.

Denver about to get punched in the mouth. The media and nugget fans are really underestimating the bench depth the wolves have. The nuggets will not be ready for a fast pace Ayo and Bones combo. This Wolves team has been playing some of the best complementary basketball I have seen in awhile. This is a completely different wolves team compared to the beginning of the season. Ant will not have to do everything anymore.
Ayo is good regardless lack of Naw.
Minnesota is good and so is OKC and Spurs but it’s time for Denver to destroy them all!

Forcing the ball out of Ants hands actually forces the wolves out of all the iso that bogs down their offense. Sitting in gaps and clogging the lane is what really hurts them.

man…Ant never destroy Nuggets !! just when they run out of ideas, he shoots in 4th quarter and what makes sense and what doesn't, and that's the only way !!..Nuggets just blow yourself out few times !! Ant has said it himself many times!! if you think just a little (and don't deal with higher mathematics or some abstraction) T wolves only real success they have in that unfortunate for Denver 7th (with KAT).. everything else they won were pretty poor Lakers and Suns while every slightly better team washed them off the floor and between the two playoffs they have their own pretty bad season!! I really don't know what you hope for… if somehow Nuggets don't pass this (and I don't think there is any theory that this will happen), Jokic needs to be seriously to consider leaving Denver!! Nuggets..if you've learned anything about Joker and what it means when he's upbeat and happy about his crew (as he is and hasn't been literally since the title – Malone and GM case) I don't know who can stop them, they'll eat SAS and OKC for breakfast!! I'm most afraid of the finals against the East, then the already tired Nuggets can underestimate someone and lose, even though it's still a long way off!! they have time like everyone else!!
