Honestly, I don’t like this loser/quitter mentality of saying “we didn’t have a shot anyway” or “we can’t beat the Thunder so let’s quit now”…can we just look back 6 years, did anyone have Toronto beating the Warriors? Did anyone have the Miami Heat making it to multiple NBA finals? Did ANYONE have Indiana in the finals last year? Or better yet, in a game 7 with ALL the momentum before the Achilles tear? Do you think Hali regrets trying? We have such a loser/quitter culture, and sadly it’s the same people saying those things that also say “the regular season is meaningless” and then they turn around and complain about players sitting…just ridiculous listening to some of these fans who are soft as marshmallows. You play the game out BECAUSE you don’t know the outcome, there’s no competitive juice coming from these jokers at all, just a quitters way of thinking
Even if we are full strength, we would still struggle to beat the rockets. The regular season is NOT the playoffs. I have not seen luka carry a Lakers team to a playoff win yet.
