Those hating on Melo haven't played enough Basketball to understand. You can find hundreds of these clips it's common accident in basketball and easy to mistake as intentional. You have a player that is down and wants to get up. Opponent (even own team mates) trip over the fallen players arms or legs. Watch the replay Lamelo is looking at the ball not Bam's foot, it was not intentional, Miami fans have nothing else to do now but attack Melo, move on…
We need to stop entertaining these takes. It’s weird. It’s a frustrating foul, not a dirty play. Bam just unfortunately got hurt but it’s what happens in every game, multiple times.

Let's be real LaMelo did not trip Bam, he was already going down when LaMelo touched his ankle that's why the refs didn't call it. But the media just took off and ran with it because of past incident between Bam and LaMelo. Bam was going to hit the floor hard even if LaMelo wasn't there, Bam was just way off balance and caused his own injury.
