  1. As a Spurs fan I’m not underestimating the Blazers. Talented team with spirit. But I am so glad we do not have to face Dillon Brooks…who would make it his personal mission to make Wemby’s night a living hell and maybe even go over the line once or twice. Much happier to play Portland šŸ™‚

  2. This Spurs fan appreciates small market teams and even more so when those teams only have one pro sports franchise , like SA, (Portland, Sacremento – not OKC).

Spurs in 5. Portland will play competitively all series

  3. I say spurs in 5-6, I don’t underestimate the blazers. They’re coming off a hard fought play in tourney win and morale might be high. Spurs HAVE to win both home games to avoid a drawn out series. But I think we win both and steal one in Portland and close it out back here in SA.

  4. Blazers thrive in the CAOS !!
Bring on wemby .. we want all the challenges!!
    This is why we fans.
My brain says spurs in 5 .. but my heart goes Blazers in 7 ..
    WE BELIEVE ā¤ļø

  5. As a blazers fan, I wouldn’t be surprised if we got swept, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if we push it to 6 games and make it competitive. But I think people are writing off the Blazers too soon. It probably won’t be a sweep. The blazers are great at defense, and their roster if finally healthy for the first time this season and are on a small win streak. We have momentum and I think that’s underrated. If shots are falling for the blazers, it might be closer than people are giving the blazers credit for.

  6. I just don’t see how the blazers are gonna stop the spurs guards. We saw how the spurs guards basically beat up okcs perimeter defenders who I’m sure we’d all consider to be better perimeter defenders than the blazers. I also don’t see how the blazers score on this team. Just shooting good from 3 isn’t going to win a game against the spurs. Your not gonna hit 30 3s your gonna eventually have to go into the paint and we all know whose in that paint. I also think the spurs have a deeper bench

  7. As a Spurs fan I hope the squad comes out and calms down to play their game. Once they get into rhythm I believe we can take the series in about 5 games. I am really glad we won't be facing brooks and the suns, that guy's is just an annoying pest and I don't like him as a player.

  8. I don’t think it is a mismatch at all. It will be 4-3 Spurs. Avdija is super legit and when he goes down hill he will get the calls. Blazers also play high tempo and they play defense.

  9. Some love spread from Marseille, France ā¤ Watching every content, keep up the great job mates and… gentleman sweep from SAS incoming in this serie imo, the alien is coming for all of them šŸ‘½šŸ‘½

  10. Spurs fan. Of course picking the Spurs but I like the Blazers team. Of course we love our former Spur/Blazer guys like coach Tiago, Kersey, Porter, Strickland, Smitty, Kerr. Derek Anderson, not so much. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  11. You need to have 5 shooters on the floor at all times that can hit shots vs the Spurs or you will get blown out.

  12. Portland is going to be a challenge. They play hard and defend well all game. We cannot take them lightly at all because they will beat us if we do.

We win if we figure out how to defend Clingan at the 3 point line without Wemby having to leave the paint to contest his shots. You can bet they will try to use Clingan’s shooting ability to try to draw Wemby out of the paint like Denver does with Jokic. Or they will go to their small ball lineup they used against Phoenix in the play-in to also test that. We need to counter that look well too to win.

  13. There an obvious big gap in overall ability and quality of the two teams. But beyond that, the Spurs are a bad matchup for the Blazers. Portland's scoring relies a lot on slashing to the rim and second-chance points, and both of those things will be extremely difficult against a Wemby-led team. Wemby didn't play vs Portland at all this season, so this will be their first time facing him since 2024. It won't end well for them.

  14. Tiago is still really close to the Spurs organization so he will some Intel on what we like to do that he can draw on.

  15. Totally agree. Portland has always been a tough place to play. They have a real home court advantage there during the playoffs because their fans are awesome.

  16. Analyst: "Well, I've never really seen the Blazers play. I'm ignorant of their 3 point shooting. And Wemby hasn't played them all year, but I already know the Spurs are 'just better'" LOL
