Do you want the Nets to extend Michael Porter Jr.? If so, what contract would you be comfortable with them offering?
Again, I find this question to be really really hard to answer until we know where the nets are selecting and who will be available via trade during free agency.
For me paying MPJ long term is only something BF the nets should do if they believe they can move up the contention timeline. That means getting one of the three potential generation talents in this draft in Caleb, Peterson or AJ and being able to trade for another star talent to pair with MPJ and say AJ.
If that is not viable there is not purpose to giving MPJ some long term deal. He is a win now complimentary piece.
Resign him. You have to build around legit NBA talent!
It really depends on who we draft
I’m an old school Nets going back to Sugar Ray, just want to tell you how much I appreciate your coverage.
Knicks fan here, you have provided excellent coverage on the Brooklyn Nets!
