  1. They should have traded him at the deadline. He will never be healthy enough to play enough games in a season

  2. If you were going to do anything with lively, you should’ve done it midseason. Too late now, keep him. Get yourself a more talented medical staff. Keep the black female. She’s great. The rest of them can go.

  3. Probably not showing good recovery signs. Plus maybe his head isn't in the game. He had a kid at 19?

  4. Lively should be UNTOUCHABLE! You trade Lively to the Lakers or Rockets and he will make us regret it every time he play Dallas. There is no overnight fix . It will take time before we recover from the Luka Trade.

  5. The problem with trading him this offseason is his value is at an all time low.
See how the season plays out. I just don’t see DL getting a big payday so if he becomes healthy we may be able to keep him on the cheap

  6. Too young and too much to grow into.. He’s mobile and will put on great thickness in the coming years. Not to mention dude is smart. Horrid ideas to trade him right now. Let Gafford go before DL…

  7. Hard to see them trading D-Live, but whatever. AJ could be a nice piece off the bench as a on ball defender, picking up full court…long arms, quick feet, quick hands, and speed.

  8. Oh hell naw! Lively II is literally going through growing pains. Risk you take with 1 and done. Furthermore, Nico's direct hires had him playing and practicing on a broken foot. Remember MJ's broken foot. Imagine the losing Bulls trading away the young man.

  9. This would be dumb, this is probably a pro Luka writer trying to help the Lakers get him for cheap. Lively is staying. He’s young, good, and not expensive. Doesn’t make sense to trade him.

  10. Lively ain’t going anywhere dead his staying in D town where it rowdy and lively

  11. Lively hardly plays man.. I can’t keep a guy based off of one playoff run. He should be gone.

  12. Coop needs lively or a lively type. Trading without replacing us stupid. And as we know, lively was a gym with instant impact. I doubt we find another in the draft. His value is already low. I say we bring in the new and improved health team and run it bac with him next year. If it doesn’t work, you trade him for the scraps you would get now, but at the deadline

  13. Even if the season goes well lively won’t command the bag and he knows it. Lively would want to stay with his team that drafted him, but he knows he has to prove his worth and that one year wouldn’t do that. He surrounded by nature and level headed people who all have a common goal of going from rebuild to champions . They all see the potential and all know the flaws. I can’t see him trying to get top dollar when he’d only have completed 1 full year out of 3

  14. No we are not trading him. They misdiagnosed his injury; it’s not his fault. Plus they tanking so no rush to bring him back. Him & Kyrie back with Max Christie, Copper Flagg & Camron Boozer/Caleb Wilson would be deadly

  15. Lively is basically the same age as coop. Would be a travesty to not let them grow alongside each other.

  16. Why do this the mavs for most of their existence have had bad center play except for Dampier Tyson Chandler why trade Gafford or Lively when all you have is Cesse this isn’t a good idea they need to stack centers like they are going out of style to account for injury and foul trouble trading any of them is a bad idea don’t trade kyrie either atleast until Flagg whoever they draft and kyrie get some run and see how it goes
