Not a great showing but got the w
I know it sounds ridiculous to say it was a mediocre Jokic game when he had 25/13/11 but that's literally below his season averages in more than his average minutes. He wasn't bad and he had some good defensive possessions but it never felt like he was really even going that hard. Which was fine, the game felt in hand the whole time. In the first quarter the wolves shot above their average and the Nuggets shot below it, but their process was good and despite that they stayed close. As long as both teams regressed to the mean, it'd turn around, and they both did.
McDaniel needs to keep his cool. There are stretches where heβs dominating and gets heated. Teams wants to get him out the game that way
