I could be wrong, but it feels like Darko is trying to keep the Cavs guessing as to whether IQ is going to play. He never gives a firm answer… Could be a good strategy, I guess.
They have to make harden and Mitchell work on defence, that’s a must ! Using TJD as an extra body to keep our starters out of foul trouble is something they should be utilizing. I also never understood why they aren’t using Battle to create more spacing on the floor and have an added 3 point threat on the court that they can’t ignore, yes he is a defensive liability but he should be played in short minuets. They need to be utilizing the players correctly to their strengths and that isn’t happening. Outside of that, whenever they get punched by a team better than them the teams body language changes and they give up. Look at Boston for example, doesn’t matter what the talent level is of the players they put on the court, they all compete and that’s what makes them so dangerous but that starts with the coaching staff then the star players need to lead by example. Cleveland is the better team on paper but we shouldn’t be losing by 20plus… and they def shouldn’t be missing as many FREE THROWS as they did. It’s called a FREE throw for a reason.
"In an October 31, 2025, NBA Cup game, Jamison Battle led the Toronto Raptors to a 112-101 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers with a perfect 20-point performance off the bench. He shot 7-of-7 from the field, including 6-of-6 from three-point range, and added a crucial +28 rating in just 15 minutes".
Darko you're out to lunch. Clown….snuff said….get the hell out…🤡🤡🤡
We just need to play to our principles on defense, create turnovers and then fastbreak transition opportunities will open up on the other end. Push the pace.
First quarter, just get going. Second quarter must be a 30 points plus. 3rd quarter has to be fire and just wear them to their circuits. 4th is a warriors paradise. Let's Go Raptors!!!
They've tuned this guy out. Bring in an actual head coach.
