For some reason, I really think we’re not going to get a single one of these guys. I just don’t see them coming here, especially with a lot of them being in good situations with their teams
I think the important thing to note with almost all of these guys is that they know how to draft, which was arguably the biggest problem with AKME, they almost never drafted the right guys.
No former players, coaches, and famous executives (Bob Meyer) is a good sign. Find the smartest guy and give him the reins.
This isn't gonna turn out good. A lot of these guys are just being looked solely because said team had a decent record for a few years. All of these front office have made terrible moves as well. Even AK looked like a great hire at the time. We need someone doing the hiring process that understands basketball can evalute what the candidates vision is.
I'm more concerned with whoever we bring in having the freedom to make the moves they feel are necessary. The Bulls situation, with Reinsdorf, Paxson and Donovan, looks like it already has a lot of cooks in the kitchen.
Basically only targeting guys that won't have the power to impose their own coach!
More than likely there’re gonna go with somebody they know instead of someone from an actual winning organization, sounds too much like right for them…

Judging from their history, Reinsdorfs don’t have a clue about who would make a good GM or even what makes a GM good. if they actually hire such a person, it will be a matter of dumb luck.
