It's laughable listening to you guys. You literally said, "you couldn't understand why Jokic was having difficulty". The reason is Gobert who was amazing on defense in the past 2 games. He defended Jokic in those 2 games better than anyone I have seen in the last 5-6 years with Jokic. Not to mention the Wolves are tiring out Murray and Jokic on the other side of the court and with their physicality. Give credit where credit is due. There is a reason why Denver was trying to duck the Wolves by playing their third stringers the last 2 games of the season.
Jokic looked washed. He is done. He barely walked up and down the court in the 4th. His shots were all short. AG washed.

Jokic is aging slowly but still that is insane to put Adelman for head coach. He is like worse version of Malone. Totally incompetent. He continues to play playoff as Malone with super short rotation which tired up Jokic and Murray. He is delusional if he think that he can win the ring with 7.5 players in rotation. Put Zeke and Julian to run some mins you freaking clown. Giving to Braun 25 millions is insanity. "Shooting guard" who cant dribble and with below average shooting. Cam is so bad with 3-13 for 3 in 2 games. Gordon is agging and he is overrated by Denver's fans. His defense is average at best. Jonas is washed and Brown is totally unnecessary with his ages and weaknesses. They needed younger better defensive players and back up center who can shoot. Bringing Jonas, Brown was totally stupid. They should require some 2 good defenders 🙄 But playing with super short rotation is insanity in this super intense era. Jokic is not Lebron with his athletic capability and you need to make deeper younger banch with so much running.But management wants washed veterans 🙄

As I’ve been saying for months, David Adelman is nowhere near a good or experienced enough coach to lead this Denver Nuggets squad, and his poor in-game adjustments (his inability to properly respond to the opponent’s play and strategy) will cost the Nuggets a good result.
Jokic had 2 bad games he wasn't good at all
One more thing.. this coach playoff plan is to spam Jamal Jokic and Gordon 40+ minutes every game.. He will be gone after 1st or 2nd round exit this year
Shai has 7-19 fg and OKC won with 30 points. Jokic literally cant have game below 25/30–15–10 with 50-60% fg or we lose. What about Gordon? Somehow he always out of criticism. Bad defense, bad offense. Cam and Gordon have atrocious 3 pts in 2 game. Murray only 38% fg and 27% for 3. Jokic just cant have a bad game. Murray/Gordon/Cam/ Braun have 14-52 for 3 pts in 2 games and what you expected ?
Looks like Adelman's wearing his guys out. He needs to trust the depth of the team and play more guys. Tired of this kind of coaching. You need to make it four rounds, not exhaust your guys in two.

The fatigue is concerning. It’s what led to the bad decisions down the stretch. It’s been our Achilles heel the last two postseasons but usually didn’t show til the 2nd round. We added depth but all the injuries this year nullified that. Don’t wanna be doom and gloom too soon but it is concerning
IMO … Jokic thought that they would win comfortably without him having to get out of second gear . The same way they won game 1 . Game 2 they were comfortable and Jokic never had an aggressive mind set . Almost like the took the Timbwolves for granted and didn’t think that he needed to be aggressive for us to win the game . I think Jokic & Murray are mostly to blame for this loss however , Adelman needs to stop being just another yes man . The clutch offence was not working and he did nothing to change it . He needs to grow a pair of Balls and tell Jokic & Murray to go away from that stagnant offence that we had in the end .

The Denver Nuggets have greater individual depth and better players on the bench, so if they’re playing this poorly, you have to ask why that is.

I like a more aggressive Jokic from the start
The weakest link in the Denver Nuggets is coach David Adelman.

Jamal being involved in EVERY single play is completely gassing him out. He is constantly running off-ball in every single offensive possession for the Nuggets. When you watch the Wolves offense, you can see that Ant takes many possessions off just standing around.
Jamal is not the only player that has great chemistry with Jokic. Adelman needs to bring back plays where they can use Cam, AG or THJ instead of Jamal.

That stretch where Jokic missed like 5 straight shots is were it was lost.
9 times out of 10 he makes all of them. Bad luck, shake it off and win the next one.
Also DiVincenzo hitting a deep three every time it looked like Denver would get it back under control.

This game reminded me so much of game 7 in 2024 where we were smacking them early then they came back and our starters ran out of gas… only difference is that was game 7 and this was game 2. Wolves were so ready for Cancun after game 1, and the first quarter was amazing. Then we let em back in and don’t get the role players involved. How is Big Val so missing in this series? I have said for years that Jokic is a terrible defender. Steals are an overrated statistic on defense. He can’t block a shot or closeout.
