It takes two to tango. If the Bucks weren't serious about trading Giannis, and wanted to wait until the offseason to make a deal, there was nothing the Heat or any other team could do. As for Ja, at this point in his career, I wouldn't give up anything more than a used jockstrap for him. He isn't 2022 Ja any more.

As a Heat fan, I am delighted we did not cave in for Giannis or Ja. NBA really hates Miami. Just look at the past. And I got the Heat making it to the NBA finals. Lets Go!

Blah, blah, blah…🙄 Im sick& tired of this toxic fanbase & that includes these content creators too. Do you people forget that this was supposed to be a rebuild year for us? There was alot of uncertainty going into this season with the current build of this roster & not a single Heat fan here had us doing much this year. We were going to wait to see if JJJ could bounce back, we were going to wait to extend Herro, we were going to wait to see our new offense & we were going to see how Norman would fit in. I'd say were well ahead of schedule based on the projections we had before the season started. JJJ is a 6moy candidate, thank God we didn't pay Herro, the offense is fun, Norm has exceeded all expectations & is even an All Star! Plus, the development of our young guys is an added bonus! We got off to a great start & that was unexpected. But lets be real, this was a rebuild year for us. Miami absolutely did enough with the negotiations, Miami had the best offer (even with the national media "lying" about it & pushing a narrative). But in the end its the Bucks & Giannis that were on that BS. I'm still very optimistic about this teams short term future & am looking forward to getting everyone healthy & geling the second half of the season. #keepthesameenergy

Pat is Washed! because he thought he was still in the 80's or 90's era when trading didn't require many assets or picks to get a superstar, his offers are insufficient for a team to agree, so now they can't get or make a deal done with any team in a trade

Listen o didn't want ja at the beginning but with Tyler hero being out this season way more than I could ever imagine…..as a Tyler hero defender I was ready and wouldn't have been mad if they traded him for ja morant. Wasn't hurt about gianiss. I knew we would trade to much for him but ja morant was literally almost for free man. I don't get it. At the trade deadline I LITERALLY would have took a bag of chips for rozier contract and simones (hate him. He takes minutes away from other players that I think deserves it)……but no. I wasn't expecting much but I didn't expect doing NOTHING! smh

dude the truth is giannis is still so SALTY about jimmy eliminating them as the 1 seed! he's had it in for us since then. taking dame from us. then stringing us along to trade for him just to ruin any other moves we could potentially make. that's how petty this legendary diva is. he'll try it again over the summer. Riley is not going to make anymore trades, he wants to win his last ring through the draft. If he wont trade Jaimi for giannis, he wont trade for anyone. And he never will, certainly not in the summer time when the asking price will be higher, its going to be through the draft from now on.
