Evan such a beast when he gets the ball and be aggressive he can become another version of Kevin Garnett if he gets aggressive and demands the ball my favorite player on the Cavs

Go Cavs…
I see this dude playing for the Lakers one day
The media & (casual) fan narrative around one Evan Mobley has been laughably unfair due to artificial expectations and lack of proper perspective. His real profile entering the league was that of a defensive minded big with more of a throwback offensive game, still needing to develop his face up & off the dribble skillset. Other people wanted to tag him with this stupid unicorn label and automatically comp him with Chet & Wemby, but they didn't want to give him adequate time to develop . Wemby is one of one, Chet was more refined as a new age big who can handle & shoot,, while Mobley entered the pros playing high level defense right away..two different players. But when a guy is more comfortable on offense, that's going make more noise than the opposite. Evan is Cleveland's first Defensive Player of the Year in franchise history, in the last two years he's been giving them high caliber defense while averaging a double double on offense as the 3rd option. Now with Harden he's scoring 20 plus points with near double digit rebound average and still clamping people on D..in reality he's Cleveland's best player when you factor the two way play. Yet all year people act like he's never doing enough, despite not having the ball like his guards. And oh yeah. HES 24 YEARS OLD folks..he's not even close to his prime yet, and if people look at the top 5 draft picks from the last four or five drafts, Mobley compares favorably to a lot of those guys. His past deficiencies (strength, offensive confidence) do not seem to be there anymore, and he's only getting better.
Evan looking good asf, but smile and laugh.
THis is a bad matchup for the raptors. Mobley was 11-13 from the field, 13 shots 25 points. That is a difference maker.
