The video Trev shows originally has a sound we can't hear. I watched the orignial and KD clearly screams the F word after the last shot while looking down.
He clearly doesnt shout because he missed (doesn't look like he missed) and looking down makes me believe he is screaming out of the pain in his knee.
So i think yes, there is a chance he doesn't play, or he will play, but will either be restricted in movement/minutes or leave mid-game because of pain.
If he was aching out of pain from shooting practice, he'll probably be agonised by game intensity.
I usually want the other team to be in full strength so there are no asterisks attached. But since we're already down Luka & AR, I feel good rooting for KD not to return lol.
If KD is a go tonight we have go at him and test that knee. Attack him on defense and on offense blitz him as much as possible and be extra physical.
Even KD is going to play but if we just clean up all the mistakes from game 1. We would still win. 👍

I"m sorry Trevor but the size argument is a weak one for poor rebounding. Some of the best rebounders the NBA has seen have been undersized players. Rodman especially. It is about technique and coaching. In fact, you've made a point to say that a big loss to their rebounding is Luka's absence. He qualifies as an undersized player. You're letting them off too easy with that excuse.
The sad part is I want a sweep but i know we shouldn't 😢

The Rockets aren't really bigger and stronger (or even faster) than the Lakers – Ayton is bigger and stronger than Sengun or at least equal to him and the same with Rui compared to Smith, whereas Smart is bigger and stronger than Reed Shepherd. And KD definitely isn't bigger and stronger (or faster) than LeBron – just taller. The only Houston starter that you could say has a size and strength advantage on us in Amen Thompson because he's bigger and stronger than Kennard but around equal to LaRavia.

The offense isn't as efficient as when Luka and AR are there? It was MORE efficient last game – we shot 52% from 3 and 61% overall from the field. Doesn't get much more efficient than that.
Lakers need to grab those defensive rebounds, stop being sloppy with unforced turnovers, and dont leave guys that can make 3 pointers
Seriously, Lakers will have to play even better tonight, if Rockets punch lakers, the lakers have punch back, or a blowout is coming…. We will see what in game adjustments JJ can make.
