  1. I don’t think he is dumb enough to believe he can pinch pennies at the lowest levels and that somehow will result in enough savings to spend big on the roster. I think this is sending a message about how he wants to run things to figure out who is on board and who isn’t.

  2. In my opinion, the new owner is a problem. It is unacceptable that players who contributed to Portland's promotion to the playoffs this season will not be with the team in its most important moments. I have a very bad feeling about the new owner.

  3. This New guy's is joke why couldn't we sold to Nike Guy screws Tom is worthless owner his hockey team garbage too

  4. Don't hit the panic button yet people. If there is one thing I know for certain about Oregon it is that every Government and corporate entity in the state is absolutely overwhelmed by bologna programs and intentionally wasteful spending. They love artificially inflating budgets and spending as much as they possibly can to make it appear like more and more money is necessary year after year. I love Oregon but we are truly being fleeced by our leaders and politicians. If people knew how much money they would be getting in tax kickbacks every year if they weren't inflating the budget intentionally… nobody would be paying it. Just in the building i work in alone it would be tens of millions of dollars per year. One building. A massive audit may be exactly what the organization needs.

  5. Can Dundon be retroactively veto’d as governor? Seems like no one likes this guy, and I can imagine the players being any different. Does this dude even know basketball?????

  6. Being Cheap ain't a good look for a Team owner. We seen this before. Looking at you A's owner John Fisher. & It's not about giving free T-Shirts at home…its about creating a sense of team unity with the fans. Drowning out the opposing team with the Home Team Colors and creating a suffocating atmosphere. And there 1 thing about Blazer Fans. They are absolutely loyal and die hard. The Moda Center reminds me of Oracle Arena for the GSW before the fans got priced out by silicon valley dweeps. And moved to SF. Thanks again Joe and Peter.

  7. Dundon apparently has had success with his NHL team by cost cutting and being an ass hole. I have serious doubts that is going to work in the NBA. Players have a bigger role in the success of the team and have more flexibility in free agency. If you don't have dawgs on your team cause you're cheap, it does not matter how good are the offensive and defensive schemes. You'll get your ass kicked with superior talent. And the vibe of the organization will turn sour. Is this the Mr. Smithers of the NBA?

  8. Ahh dude u will sell thjs team befjre next season what crap attitude- what tge heck are u doing dude – Dane needs to own the Blazers

  9. I’m concerned now after hearing and seeing all these things, specifically the coach salary, is when we need to resign Deni. Will Dundon low ball him? Will he pay him what he deserves to keep him?

  10. If this is true. Get this new owner out of here. He wants to move the team. He won’t last in Portland as a owner.

  11. Well hopefully he's a quick learner, and he realizes real fast he's likely screwing up already. Ultimately, this is bad for two major reasons – each of these things add up. So even if they are smaller things overall, they add up to something real big and impactful long term. The second major reason is chemistry and trust. Cheeping out like this is genuinely a fantastic way to hurt team chemistry, not just amongst the players, but among the staff, while also showing prospective future players and staff members like coaches that you do not truly value what they can bring to your team when you're limiting their contracts to such a tiny amount compared to even college contracts. What the hell is the point for players and coaches to even consider this team when that's the case? He's shooting himself in the foot.

  12. how do you spend billions on a purchase only to then do everything possible to cut back costs of said purchase? what a stupid mentality….

  13. What an atrocious greeting to the league and the fanbase. Let everyone know you are here to make money and save it for yourself. Awesome.
It would be a genuine abomination if this donkey didn't pony up enough cash to bring back Tiago. This is by far the saddest news of the season and put such a nasty shadow over this really impressive conclusion to a brutal multi-year rebuilding process. I was so hopeful, man….

  14. If I’m on a team and the photographer that comes to every game is told they can’t come to our next playoff game. I’d be very worried about the confidence the new owner has in the group of guys being put on the court. Players knowing their time is over, will not compete well.
