Matt Lloyd should be a no-brainer easy choice. But its the Bulls. He's a great evaluator communicator, and he knows the Bulls when they were good.
Bulls fans better hold off celebrating until we find out who they hire for coach and front office. With the reinsdorfs as owners and john paxson still around, we can't trust that duo to get it right.
After all that? Where do they go from here?
When you get to this point in life, this might be the end of the coaching era. Billy will be a wonderful analyst for either college and professional basketball.

This is good news for Bulls fans . Ak firing was good but this is way better . Billy was out coached game after game. He made terrible rotations terrible in game adjustments. I get that you can blame the roster construction but his coaching was predictable . Only 2 level scoring in 6 years is crazy. We couldn’t shoot 3s for the first 4 years then we stay away from mid range the next 2 . That’s bad coaching . And playing players way out of position is crazy . From Alex to Lonzo to Javonte to okoro guarding Giannis and KD etc is crazy . Hopefully the small ball lineup two level scoring era is over. The time schedule subs every game was also a huge flag. We need a younger guy to be our coach these 60 year olds are not winning anything these days .

Ok ….you guys are friends with Billy Donovan. Kiss his a$$ all you want his record as the bulls coach is what it is. He's a loser .
Billy is such a mid coach. I don’t understand why anyone thinks he did a good job in OKC. He had 3 future MVPs and had one of them coming off the bench. Didn’t know how to utilize Sabonis either. He’s never been good at adjusting during the games. Getting spanked by the Heat every year shows the difference between a good coach and a mid one. Spo would spank him with the same amount of talent.
Billy knew the next few seasons will be a sh*t show and got out while the getting was good. I expect Reinsdorf to F up the next phase.
