  1. This is turning into an absorbing series, if not exactly entertaining. Neither team can hit a 3 for love or money, so they need to attack the paint, which is a big ask when the opposition is full of strong defenders.

The Magic are pulling away in this series because Wendell Carter is outplaying Jalen Duren, which is not a sentence I thought I would ever be typing. I'm not trying to scapegoat Duren, who is a fine player, but Detroit simply can't compete without him scoring and imposing himself physically on the opposition. He hasn't been able to do either with Carter on him.

  2. Like Ive always on this channel, cade is trash and so easy to nullify. Just stick a defender (and it doesn't even have be a lockdown def like Castle) and he's done just nowhere skilled enough and then he starts heaving hail Marys shooting 30% and 8TO's lol

  3. All about matchups. Orlando was never a good matchup for Detroit. They just as physical as Detroit and they got more offensive weapons. Detroit had a good season but the playoffs your weaknesses get exposed. It’s all on Cade Cunningham. They needed a second bonafide bucket getter that can create his own.

  4. Detroit is probably the team where the first option is far superior to the second option. I don’t want to be unfair to Duren, but his play in this series hasn’t been dominant. The only one I see capable of doing star-level things is Cade. Meanwhile, Wagner, Banchero, or Bane all have that mindset of saying, “I’ll win the game
