masai was fired from raptors and did nothing for toronto in his last 5 years
I think Masai’s hiring put J Kidd in his place as the head coach. He was angling for GM or President positions and Dumont brought in someone with absolute control of the team with no room for Kidd to have any wiggle room in that space. Focus on being the head coach or be on your way

My favorite thing he said was when he pointed out the injury issues.

Kidd would leave if someone offers a front office position, but I bet he is back.
His comments tell me he's not only going to listen to what Kidd has to say, he said he'd follow. From the way he's approached this job at every stop, I believe he looks at it like, "Ok, coach let me see what you got. I'll listen to what kind of players you think we should go after and put our team in the best position to win."
Once he believes that he's done that or to some extent anyway, the clock then starts ticking.
My prediction is everybody except for Coop and Kyrie will be up for trade with 2-4 actually getting traded but I wish we'll do that after 15-20 games with Kyrie so we'd see who really is the odd man out.
My favorite part from Masai press is when he said that we can't cry forever over the Luka trade.
Time to move on and embrace the Masai/Cooper era.
If we are drafting a point guard we need kidd and Kyrie.. Luka transformed with them by his side..
ppl don't give a lot of credit to Kidd but he teaches point guards to be efficient and reduce turnovas.. Masai will be strict on Kidd be we absolutely need Masai and Kidd to work well this yr.
