BREAKING: Mark Williams RETURNS To Phoenix Suns on 3-Year Deal
The Phoenix Suns are all-in on continuity, as they’ve reportedly reached an agreement on a three-year, $38 million deal with restricted free agent Mark Williams. Williams, 24, joined the Suns via trade in the 2025 offseason and is now under contract with the franchise through the 2029-30 season.
Williams appeared in 60 games for the Suns in 2025-26, posting averages of 11.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. His signing confirms the Suns will run it back in the upcoming season, and he will remain a key cog in a center rotation that also features Oso Ighodaro and Khaman Maluach.

Makes sense or else risk someone in the conference swooping him up. Williams played well when he was healthy. The Suns offensively and defensively flowed better when he was in the starting lineup.

I like Williams. Is he our future or gonna dominate? No, but who cares. I'd rather have him than not. Same with Green.
Suns aren't a top 3 team in the West nevermind the NBA. I'm not delusional. However, if all of those injuries didn't happen the Suns would've been a top 5 or 6 team in the West. They wouldn't be in the play in.
A healthy Green and a healthy Williams from the start of the season rather than later like last season. We're much better. The bench players need to be healthy and ready to play too throughout the season and just not part of the season or most. Dunn and Oso gotta get better offensively and defensively. Oso gotta get stronger 💪🏾.
I think it's a good move bringing Mark Williams back. It's a worry and concern and risk on all players. It's sports. It's basketball. Just don't speak it or think it into existence of injury. Be positive. 👍🏾
Mich freut diese Verlängerung. Mit seiner individuellen Leitung ist Williams noch besser als Oso und Maluach, auch wenn alle drei unter Jordan Ott ständig am Perimeter stehen und wie ein Staffelläufer bri Olympia den Stab bzw den Ball an diie fliinken Guards weitergeben. Für mich viel zu berechenbar. Es braucht auch ein Spiel wie es Tim Duncan pflegte. Also Punkte in der Zone und Variabilität bei den Abschlüssen. Ich hoffe, dass die mediz. Abteilung erfolgreich seinen Fuss therapieren konnte. 12,6 Mio sind okay.
