  1. Kawhi doesn't actually want to come back to San Antonio. He'd more likely go back to Toronto before he'd come back to a place where people deem him a traitor. Emotions aside, Pop doesn't view players the same way your average fan does. He loves Kawhi, and it'd be the only reason he'd ever be in a Spurs uniform again.

  2. They burned LeBron's jersey in Cleveland when he left to Miami…then he came back and won them a championship. So i wouldn't be opposed if it panned out this way.D Aaron Fox had me fuming most of all season and post season and wouldn't mind it if it was bird for bird

  3. Only non San Antonio people even play into this nonsense 😂 never will he be back here because of him we don't have six rings please be quiet if you're not a San Antonia y'all's opinions don't matter #2 is taken already

  4. I would rather just stick with Fox, as much as I absolutely despise his contract. I cannot in good conscience bring back that injured trash pile of a human.

  5. I would love him to come back Spurs did not do right by him we definitely need to repair this imo …also we are talking about arguably one of the best player in the league I woundnt tear down my team to do so but Fox will definitely be on the trade block

  6. From the reporting I have seen, he would be open to returning to his former teams and the Raptors would be interested in his return. Which means the Spurs have not shown interest in his return. I think this is one of those things we don't have to worry about because the Spurs would never do this.

  7. Kawhi-not? I'll tell you why! 35 yrs old with high risk of injuries, ongoing scandal, unwanted family members, the way you shit on the organization, and the way you left! Thanks but no thanks. But if Wemby says yes then ok lol👽

  8. im all about burrying the preverbal hatchet… but Vassel has an energy and attitude that cant be bought. he is a spark plug, and loves his team, do not destroy this chemistry. imagine trading for him, he blows his knee out, and we gave up vassel and pics?

  9. I would not give up Carter Bryant. Too much long term upside, plus Carter Bryant's dad was Kawhi's HS coach, so the mentoring of CB by Kawhi would be very natural. LAC has Garland as PG, averaging 19 pts, so if Fox is in the deal, it would again be in a "two in a box" situation. Plus, despite what everybody says, I don't think starting Castle + Harper works now as Castle has too many TOs and when either of them goes out, it'd be a weakness. So something like Vassell + KJ + Kornet might work, but then we are putting our backup center weight firmly on Reed for a season (I'm assuming JQ comes back Jan-Mar 2027, but plays limited minutes). The bench would be Harper + Bryant + Reed . I just think that's too weak offensively (other than Harper), though it's fine defensively. So it's not clear how to make this work. Maybe if a 3rd team gets involved to take Garland from LAC, we could drop Fox + (KJ/Vassell), but we'd need a backup PG then to start Castle+Harper.

  10. Yo TSR, I wouldn't think it's gonna happen. You don't want to take a chance in ruining relationships with Castle and Harper, leaving the Spurs. It would also put a hiccup on their development. Real good chances of him with the front office watching his minutes and winning a championship. I personally would not take that chance!!!

  11. On the court, he is the exact fit for the needs Spurs have shown during these playoffs.
Spurs need an elite tall wing defender. They need someone who can initiate offense, create his own shot and score when it matters. They need a veteran that knows how to win. A lot of people are unhappy about Fox's contract that will be difficult to trade.
The only issue is the fans trauma that haven't healed yet, but nobody is still there on the team from that time, so if he is truly willing to make it work it could…

  12. He's not a good enough player anymore. Even if everyone bashed fox, I still think that fox is better, especially in terms of availability. If we talking about closer, wemby's gotta take up that responsibility anyways. So I don't need kawhi as a stop gap. Just give it to wemby, watch him make all the mistakes he want.

  13. That 1st trade scenario is Ludacris!! That package is probably better than what the Bucks got for the Freak, get the fck out of here!!!
