Making sense of Bucks new roster ahead of free agency
The Milwaukee Bucks have been busy since drafting Brayden Burries and Nate Ament! Milwaukee added another pair of prospects by trading into the last pick of the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft to select Malique Lewis and signing Rafael Castro to a two-way contract right after the draft. Then ahead of NBA free agency opening on Tuesday night player and team options were due on Gary Trent Jr., Gary Harris, Taurean Prince, Kevin Porter Jr., Jericho Sims, and Andre Jackson Jr.
Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti sat down on Monday to recap it all, plus Ti apologized to Nate Ament. After going through the Bucks suddenly over-filled roster, they then shared their favorite free agent targets outside of Ousmane Dieng. Top targets include Jonathan Kuminga and Tari Eason.

Lets go new bucks!
I want to keep all the heat players. Get rid of Kuz and Green!
Is it possible that the trade could not go through if Giannis doesn’t pass the physical. Miami could have buyers remorse. This happened with Williams and the Lakers. Especially with the report that came out this weekend. This would be catastrophic.
Love listening to y’all. Real talk
If I can pick 3 guards it's Burries, Herro, and Jacu
I'm kinda happy with milwaukee , is doing with their offseason , like free agency draft the thing is andre.Jackson junior I think we should have gave him one more chance
4th would be Rollins
Kpj could leave and wouldn't be upset about it but, as a 5th guard I wouldn't complain
So Portland has Morant Lillard and Holliday. Seems like teams are going guard heavy
Sorry TY but the bucks r in the playoffs!
Nets, hornets, wizards, and bulls r below us
We’ve got a weathermaker for some great bucks talk here folks
They talked about stashing Lewis in College somewhere I believe
Run it back with 6 new players. And if it's not working out, trade at the deadline. the Bucks can be a play-in team at least.
sell high on turner now his value is just going to sink further teams need bigs now. if we wait turner will just get older and we will lose a guarenteed year on his deal and thats not te mention what the market will look like next year after we know what lottery reform does to picks
No interest at all in Peyton Watson? Strikes me as the exact role player you need to win championships, and now the Bucks have enough space to pay him
I hope they get rid of Miles Turner!!!! Please!
You have to reserve Judgement on all of these picks, for all we know Ament could be the next superstar. The other options could suck.
I’d love to see Ous back specifically because you need lottery tickets at this point. Yes, him and Ament overlap, but I just feel every swing is valuable at this point.
