2027 Lakers > 2024 Mavericks
most likely it was better for lebron and the lakers to part ways to usher in the luka era but people should be careful for what they wish for lebron was the most available even though he had to sit out the first 10-15 games and IMO at best I only see Luka winning one ring he might not even win a single ring the league has too much talent were right now in the era of parity even if Luka wins two rings its definitely going to be spaced out like 2 rings in 4 or 5 years and that's highly unlikely the same way lebron left its going to happen to Luka in the future if they find another superstar once Luka starts declining and especially if he doesn't deliver even one ring
This is going to be a process moving forward i wouldn't be surprised if the lakers are mid-trash next season
Just because the Lakers made the Most moves in the Off Season doesnt mean this team is better built than the 2024 Dallas team
And now they’re going to trade who I genuinely think is the best and most versatile defender on the team, in Vanderbilt, for a “what if “on Jonathan Kuminga. 🤷♂️
Put some respect on the Waffle House lakers 🗣️
All jokes aside I think it’s bogus the league waits for these guys to get traded them to inform the team trading for them and they don’t get back their assets. Same thing happened with the Miami heat. The league did them dirty
This is exactly what lakers fans deserve….remember Luka contract up after 27-28 season….. better hope he’s happy with this “playoff” ready roster😂😂😂
There going to be trash and the question would become does anyone want to come and play with Luka 😅 but I have a feeling after a few trash seasons Luka will get Rob fired
sorry im keeping kennard rui and hayes
Luka just don’t look in shape to me like he did in his first years with Dallas, yes he can score and get buckets but defensively is the challenge that’s why the best players in the league have to play both ends
Who understands people. If the Lakers do nothing they get killed saying the lakers wasting Luka and Bron years. They finally do moves and they still talking. I'm not saying this team is better, but at least it's different. I was tired of running the same team over and over. The reality is LeBron's push for Russell Westbrook put the lakers behind for at least a decade. He then wanted the lakers to draft his son and wanted top dollars. I appreciate LeBron's time with the lakers but ready for change (for better or worse).
The fact they wouldn't want to keep all those dude's except Ayton is a little mind boggling to me. Still could have added a Kessler and Grimes.
38 – 40 wins
Because the moves they made were ignorant. You should at least keep Rui, Kennard and Hayes. Add a Kessler and Grimes to that. No one expected them to give up the few good player's they had to get back all mid player's in FA. You add on to what you have. Or you aren't really adding anything.
Nick isn't wrong at all.
Nick is so annoyed lakers didn’t throat Lebron lol
Why would they get rid of Rui
Lol if this is true, then OKC and the Spurs are also doomed because this current Lakers squad is built almost EXACTLY like them. This is just Nick caping for his boyfriend
But if they kept Lebron this bozo would be telling us they are going to the finals
If Luka manages 50 wins with this team he's automatically the MVP. If he wins the championship somehow, put him in the top 10 idgaf.
How is LeBron not under the “Lost” tab
Kessler, luka and reaves are injury prone. And they are counting heavily on thiero and the 1st round pick this year. 2 guys who've done nothing in the nba. It will be a long season. I got them in the play in.
That center right now is a 1000% better than he’s bf LeBron 😂 no antics no scape goats no le management what a great move by the lakers
Nick just mad cause hes daddy LEBRON got fired and i dont want to HEAR he left new owners MADE it clear last season THEY did not want him BACK
I don't know how this new team that the Lakers got will turn on I know Luca will get his point Austin Reed will get his points but I don't think they are the top team in the Western conference that's just what I believe they may be a play in team and hopefully they'll do better than that but I'm looking for the Lakers to finish the season as a play in team 🤔💡
How do you get rid of Smart, and Rui? Brony James is only there for business sake. Jersey sales. His Lakers Jersey is going to be the most sold of any teammate, except for Luka’s.
Replacing Bron with bench players. Good Luck.
Lmao they winning a minimum of 50 games this year for sure
I think people are underrating Luka’s impact. Sure, there is a lack of top level talent on this team, but if he’s healthy all season (which is a big IF), he can legitimately be the best player in the league. He took decent teams on deep runs. Regardless of the defensive and complaining to the ref narratives, he is truly elite and one of the best offensive players of all time.
LA are going to shock a lot of people this year I guess. Theyre gonna win another 50+ games and compete for the 3 seed.
We will be better then people think but we don’t have to be in the spot light cruise through season our weekness is injuries so hope we have a strong bench
They’ll be worst than last year lol
Broony James should be a lot better
Hot Mess!!!!
